FIRST START & DRIVE! | K24 Swapping My 8th Gen Civic - Episode 9

After a MONTH of waiting on parts, small delays, and a bunch of bleh. I have finally completed the k24 swap build series on my 2007 Honda Civic Si. we removed the stock k20z3 and replaced it with a beefy JDM K24a!
Now all that's left is getting it tuned by ‪@JaviTuned‬ and some seat time!!

You can use a thermostat from a b series integra type r in the thermostat housing to fix your issues. Just take the one out of the k tuned swivel neck. That's what I did with mine. Keep up the good work man

yo, a perfect air to fuel ratio is 14.7:1. known as stoichiometric. its crazy how you can just drop in a motor into a civic and have the engine near stoichiometric.

You don’t need to remove the thermostat!! Your running a full-size 3 core radiator it will take a long time to bleed but it will , you just can’t give up so easily 👌🏼👍🏼

Ayo i need some help advice if anyone has alot more experience with motors swaps and kmotors to begin with. Recently swapped my fg2 coupe with a k24a but it is on limp mode, not sure why it been, was wondering if the z3 throttle position sensor would cause this? I had a rbc intake mani on the z3 and got it on the k24 now, need help grtting this thing out of limpmode, im sure it might have the z3 tps on it now, would it cause this to be on limp mode? Do i need k24 tps ? Checked for grounds, everything seems good but not 1000% sure help:( It is on stock ecu, stock harness

When i first K24 swappd my fa5 it wouldnt run on the stock k20z3 basemap .. needed hondata to run properly … and gotta switch all the sensors from the z3 over to the k24a
