@@soundadapter Mine doing fine, I am careful to not drive it hard unlese the temprature is where it should be, and I am doing the timing belt in a week, apart from a little rough 5 and a half cylinder idel is it running well and feeling very healthy, it has gotten new oil in the engine, gearbox and diff as we as flushing with coolant :)

Theres a 1994 325i manual (E36) near where I live has been sitting in front of their house for almost 10 years now, will be 10 years in a few months. I really want to rescue it but worried it might be impossible to get back on the road, plus there's a high chance it's full of rust after sitting out there in harsh weather for almost a decade, hard decision.

Mein e34 Touring habe ich im April 2013 in der Garage abgestellt,,er musste einem anderen e34 Touring weichen,,bin gespannt was geht..Aber bevor ich ihn anwerfe kommt auf jeden Fall ein neues Inspektionskit rein.Das wird aber erst in 2021 passieren, da er 2022 30 Jahre alt wird.Beste BMW Grüße 👍👍👍

Darf ich fragen, warum der so unrund läuft und immer wieder absaufen möchte? Mein e30 mit demselben Motor macht genau das gleiche. Ich sollte das Öl, Filter und Dichtungen wechseln. Würde er dann glatter laufen? Benzinpumpe ist bereits neu und Dichtungen werden auch erneuert. Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass der Entlüftungsschlauch, der einzige Schlauch am Ventildeckel, komplett lose und sehr rissig/pompös war. Den habe ich auch neu bestellt. Vielleicht säuft er deshalb ab? Zündkerzen von NGK sind auch schon drin. Was meinst du woran das liegen kann, hat sich 1:1 wie deiner angehört.

Hallo, wenn der Wagen so lange gestanden hat, ist das normal, ich würde das Öl wechsel, Kerzen und Filter. Zündverteiler kontrollieren Benzin überprüfen... ablassen frisch auffüllen. Leerlaufregler und Drosselklappen Schalter überprüfen. Alles auf Undichtigkeiten überprüfen, Abgasanlage usw. Wenn das alles ok ist, am besten auf der Autobahn mal auf Temperatur bringen! Kann natürlich auch noch mechanische Probleme haben, z.b. Zylinderkopf, Dichtung, Ventile überprüfen einstellen usw. bei älteren Autos kommt einiges zusammen:-) kannst mich ja mal über Deinen Fortschritt informieren. Gruß Frank

Ich kann sagen, dass der 320i von einem älteren Herrn gefahren wurde und dann über Jahre (leider unbekannt wie lange) in einer Scheune stand. Die Elektrik spinnt leider etwas auch, weshalb ich mal nach den Sicherungen schauen muss. Nach der Benzinpumpe lief er einigermaßen, säuft jedoch knapp vor der Betriebstemperatur ab. Ich möchte ohnehin alles am Fahrzeug dokumentieren, da ich diesen Aufbauen möchte. Daher möchte ich bald ein Kanal erstellen und regelmäßig Videos hochladen. Kannst mir ja gerne zuschauen, informiere dich, sobald ein Video drauf ist! ☺️
