Sounds awesome brother yeah I have a few of them yd100 engines myself there hit and miss out of 2 I had they both didn't run great then I broke a exhaust bolt in one replaced the cylinder head with a cdhpower best running yd100 I had lol on the yd100 bottom half they well work with the phantom cylinder and a 80cc with a balanced crank and a heavy duty clutch and good SKF bearings will work with the minaralli and you have to buy a cnc 10mm spacer plate that's the 3 engine's I'm running working on another 1 while i'm stuck in the house the athina aluminum minaralli cylinder racing engine then I'm gonna take the yd100 off my nel lusso beach cruiser and put a steal sleeved cylinder LD90 see what she'll do be safe brother just cold and wind and rainy here be safe and ride safe if you get a chance

You should make a video of trying to fix the other yd100. I mean there' only 5 gaskets that are crucial to making it run. Just do a full tear down and take your time. It would be interesting to see if an 8 dollar gasket kit could bring back a hundred dollar motor and its kinda asmr for builders.

@dustinh4175 that's a really good idea although I truly believe the old engine has issues with port timing so a replacement cylinder might fix the issue just as easily

@@glenssmallenginecreations try putting your new cylinder on the old bottom end.

Nice an easy start up, look Ready, I put the ultra grey on exhaust gasket too, both sides, I dislike leaks 😁👽👍🏻

If money wasn't so tight...I wouldn't have an issue buying a $230 Avenger 85 kit....But it's hard to justify the price. When you can buy 2 YD100s or two 49mm iron kits. They started selling E85 five miles away from me....A diy high compression 49mm head for E85 with all the other typical hp engine mods would make plenty of power once it's jetted right. I think my money might be better spent on a gemini rear hub for now to build a much stronger wheel....Then (one day) a steel reinforced full suspension frame with 18in gemini wheels so I could use moped/motorcycle tires wouldn't be a death trap when trying to cruise at 45mph.

@michaelbrinks8089 I agree I would like to try the avenger or phantom engines either one but I can't see myself paying those prices so the YD100 is probably the most expensive bike engine you'll see on my channel. I just have way to many hobbies that consume my "toy budget " to spend that kind of money on one.thanks for watching ✌️
