Good video i must say, your tips and tricks definitely help out the beginners! I haven't seen all your videos yet but I think if you showed how to make an automation clip (i.e. the volume and/or pitch rising or lowering automatically) it would make this video even better!!!

1. No I am not disappointed with my own audio prod. 2. No I don’t wait for the next plug-in which will become that magic button I lack. 3. Music production is not the most complicated thing I’ve made. 4. No, absolutely no haircut like Skrillex.

hey love this video for drums - but i think where most are lacking is melody creation from a fundamental level like you gave us with the drums. and then how to play chords with it and counter melody extra on and on - i am going to check your other videos but i think this would help our creativity more then anything --- your drops were amazing!

(Before watching the video) I just really like and vibe with music so when I hear elements I like I remember them and when I first started making songs I didn’t know if there was supposed to be an order. I just kinda sit there and imagine something I feel like hearing at the time and 4-6 hours later I have a 2 minute and 30 second song. I want to see what people who are better than me have to say about it because I want my songs to sound fuller. I don’t now about music theory or anything. I have a good ear for flow, transitions and melody but my two problems are the song itself just isn’t as intense as I think I should feel and I can’t keep a song slow for the life of me because I don’t know how to keep all that empty space interesting with fewer notes. So I’m just wondering if I’m missing something. I use Soundtrap by the way but all of my better/more recent songs are private.
@Old_Man_Jay4 жыл бұрын
I had the same exact problem for a long time. Sadly, there's no way around the fact that you should learn some theory. And maybe take a few piano lessons. That's what I did and while my music still sucks, it's much better than before.
