Hey Chahat as per my knowledge NIFT is for fashion designing ( correct me if I am wrong). That would not work in product design( you might get some knowledge of color ) but in product design it would not work, you need to upgrade your knowledge for product designing or UI/UX designer purpose.

To learn the basics it would take Months. For mastering at least 2 years .

Yes, there's a scope. Depends on where you are placed. If you are into a good company expect your package between 6L -8L.

🥺 bro you have just passed 12th. I want to know why you are choosing UI/UX , what's your thought for choosing this? There's no such particular degree for UI / UX,.you can learn from any resources. I would suggest you to look into other available opportunities as well as you still starting, don't go for anything, take time , and explore different things as well.

@@rishikaprajapati6693 it's not someone said, this is what is happening. If you can learn a skill in 6 months and can do the required work, why to spend 3 years in college 🤷. BTW I myself is a self learner designer and before this I was a developer.

Do really learning coding is necessary for this profile, because i am in a stage where i am applying for jobs daily for like 2-3 months and had heard many times people told me to learn coding or switch to development. Telling me if you are already a working professional with experience does it really matters?

It's not necessary to be a coder if you want to become a Designer. It's just some companies prefer that designer should have basic knowledge of html , css as It's going to make work simple for developer, but it's not necessary. Second organization are not investing much on designers , so for freshers It's a bit hard to get into this. Try in some startups or may be freelance to get some experience.
