Great video Aidan. It was more diffulcult for me to get down there so i decided to film the return at Poole. I was thinking of Parkstone but stopped short of that idea.....lol

So did the train go across the main road crossing into Poole Ferry Port, or just over Hamworthy Crossing?

Nathan A RF The train went over the crossing to use the points further up the line to run around the empty stone wagons as it was unloaded before arriving at the level crossing.

If they weren't maintained, they weren't be LED like now. Something to do with the treadle distance.

It is. The line branches off from the mainline at Hamworthy junction and runs all the way down to the docks near the quay in Poole.
