Great video any chance we'll see some videos of you guys riding the trails of Maine this year?
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
Thank you, I’m leaning toward probably not just because of not being able to get the right answers on width restrictions. Everything I see says 64” and some people say it will be ok but we can’t chance going all that way and not being able to ride. Do you know of any truth to that?
@jhonsmitty3481
@jhonsmitty3481 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCanAmCrew I didn't have any issues when I rode there in the past. My uncle (RIP) used to live in Maine and took me and my brothers on the trails out there. They have some amazing trails, that I think you guys would enjoy, I also love that you guys ride and film stuff like Drummond Island that sadly many UTV youtubers seem to ignore. It'd be super badass if you guys mapped some of the outlaw trails out there. Plus I don't think it's too far from PA. The official non outlaw trails are maintained to 65 inches according to Maines official website.

Awesome video! Quick question, when you went to cut Scott's broken axle out, aren't you able to just pull the axle out of the CV? or was it stuck in there? Thanks!
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
Yes we could do that but the outer cv joint needs to stay there because that’s what holds the hub and wheel on to the machine.
@gixxerkid32
@gixxerkid32 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCanAmCrew I've only broken one front axle so far, but we just yanked the axle out of the CV white it was still on the machine, leaving the CV in the hub. Is that ok?
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
@@gixxerkid32 ya, in some cases you can do that. In our case it was quicker and easier jus to cut it off.

Halo 30 with RCV's look to be around $5000 is it worth it?? do they still break axles after those mods?
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
We did halo 30s with turner axles. 100% worth it. Without them we couldn’t do 90% of the trails we’re doing. Plus we broke like 15 axles before switching so eventually it will pay for itself. The stock axles we’re holding us back for sure. If you do a halo 30 and turners your looking at 4250.00. If you go with rcvs it will be 4600.00. Both great but I’ve seen more rcvs break than turners. The weak link after that is the driveshaft which is ok. It’s cheaper and easier to replace.

Why do y’all not use windshields
@TheCanAmCrew
@TheCanAmCrew Жыл бұрын
We don’t run one for many reasons. Rolling over or flipping is a common occurrence and would break most windshields, mud or rain or dust gets in them so quick it makes it hard to see sometimes, my main reason is filming videos though. Nobody wants to watch a video through a dirty or scratched up windshield haha.
