In Dutch East India records lots of information about the Jewish community in old Malabar and travencore,, as per their records in pathanamthitta, quilon, kayamkulam, alleppy, cochin there were lots of jewish families doing trade with dutch, Arabs etc, these records are published in weekipedia by Dutch, 🌹🙏

Universal Syriac orthodox church ❤❤❤ Long live miaphysitism Syrian orthodox Christianity our patriarch and patriarchate. I think the middle east blood and it's trait is there widely distributed in Syrian Christians in Kerala, Christian keralites normally inherits their attributes from west Asian, we are not like tamilians Sinhalese or Kannada we are more resembling to Jews syrians , byzantine Turks or even Egyptians who where hundreds of Miles away from Kerala. So it point out that Syrian migration is most probably a historical truth and the migrants had definitely mixed up with the resident Christians and became a peculiar community.

Even without any tests, it is amply clear, knanaya are converts from the local population, most probably from washermen community. They could be migrants from tamilnadu or andra, who were brought as washermen / women centuries ago.

Madam, the Kollam migration happened in 823 AD and not in 825 AD as mentioned by you. In 825 AD, these Kollam migrants started the Kollavarsham or the Nazarani Era ( NE) and hence 825 AD is also important with respect to this community.

Joy thomas vallianeth There is nothing called kollam migration. St Francis Xavier lived as a catholic missionary in kollam region for 3 years starting from 1542. He did not find a single syrian christian or nasrani in the entire region. However he interacted with mar Abraham the chaldean prelate in Angamaly, who was metropolitan of st thomas christians, who lived in kochi kingdom, vadakkumkoor kingdom and thekkumkoor kingdom.

@@arunimasf1116 Yes, I fully agree with you. All these people who claim purity of foreign blood should do a DNA test and confirm their ancestry. I am sure none of them will dare to do that as you yourself can see that they are no different from the rest of the Malayalees in their skin colour, hair colour etc or other features. It is all a cooked up story by the parangi catholic historians including the St. Thomas mythology. They wanted to spread that myth so that they can say that the Kerala christians originally were converted by St. Thomas and later on they came under the chaldean catholic church and hence were under the latin pope. But the truth is something else. Unfortunately in their catechism class also this myth is being taught to the children and hence they are churning out "Catechism pottans" just like the "madrassa pottans" by the muslim community. Unfortunately, the Orthodox and the Marthomite christians have also bought that idea and are promoting the same unknowingly.

Please do a research and find out sir ! Then you will know about the Kollam Nazrani community. Of course before them there were Mappillas , the Christian community who are descendants of the spice traders born out of these traders living with the local women of the Kerala coast. Mappillas are the earliest christian community of Kerala. People have mistook them for converts by St. Thomas. St. Thomas never came to Kerala. That story is a myth. Neither there was a migration to Kerala in the 4th century AD under Knai Thomman. After the mappillas, came the Nasranies. Finally you have the Marthoma Christians who are the converts by the foreign missionaries such as Frncis Xaviour who was the greatest persecuter along with some other catholic bishops of Goa.
