have not watched yet.... I am a Lions fan.... been one for a very long time. I start out every season having hope... and in the past have had that hope crushed. This team before all the injuries was the BEST in the NFL. Than we started losing players... especially on Defense. Everyone talked about the Lions losing Hutch for the season..... but nobody seemed to realize that we had lost other guys on our Defense at that time....and yet the D still played well which in truth... SHOCKED ME! But than when we lost another one of our best defensive players and others.... after that when the Lions played the Bears... even more heavy losses to the D, also lost Decker who is a huge factor to the O line. I hope that he will be back for the Bills game. Yes the Lions beat the Packers.... and the D (made up with a lot of guys off practice squads and I think a few of the players were players that no longer played even on a practice squad) they did pretty well considering that the D line only had a couple names I even recognized. I heard a few guys may come back for the Bills game, Alim McNeill, Josh Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike and hopefully DJ Reader and .... but it won't be guys like Hutch, Anzalone, Rodriguez, Barnes, Reeves-Maybin.... not sure about Wingo, Cominsky, Peko.... all those names are DLs and LBs and most are STARTERS! Than there is Melifonwu (S) who was damn good last season... I know we have Branch and Joseph but still Iffy was a big help last season! I do think on the OL that Decker might be back but not at 100%.. since a couple back up O lineman are on IR... lets pray the O line stays healthy! Oh yes and Raymond... is out and yes we seem pretty good with WRs but can we all admit how great that he was doing as a PR.... So it kind of pisses me off when they talk about its Goff vs Allen! (IMO I do think Allen is a better QB) but it takes a team to win a game! Yes the Bills are a damn good team but they don't have anywhere near the injuries that the Lions do. Good teams overcome injuries, I understand that but come on people! There is not another team in the NFL with this massive of an injury list to their STARTERS! I have been watching football for years... I don't remember a team having this amount of injuries and if they did... they certainly weren't 12-1 with 4-0 division wins! I know it looks like I was writing a book but it just all pisses me off! If our team was still whole or even if we had a couple of our BEST guys out, there would be no doubt in anyones mind that the Lions are the BEST team in the NFL! No doubt at all! Most of the sports announcers disgust me! They act like the Lions are only missing players like Hutch and Anzalone and they are not seeing that in spite of all the injuries they are 12-1. And this is the season that the NFC north ends up being the very best division in the NFL! No wiggle room at all. Yes the Lions will for sure have a WC spot, but I want them to take the division and be the team that ends up getting the bye week because they need it badly. Even though I hate the fact that NFC north is the best division in the NFL.. it actually is almost as good as having the Lions at the top of the best division... and I would be comfortable with that if we didn't have so many injuries! Ok rant over lol

He's not wrong. Yes it is the game that every football fan who's home team isn't playing during the same time slot will be watching. However, as for implications...it's not as important of a game to the Lions as it is the Bills. The Lions with 3 more NFC games left are more important to Detroit than the Buffalo game is.
