But imo the 9ers are not great. I'm not familiar with the Texans. I bet the packers beat the vikings. Many teams do well at the beginning of a season, and lousy at the end, others do well at the end after being lousy at the beginning. Few teams can do really well consistently. Packers will win at home with j love coming back or with Malik Willis, a backup qb that has been in gb for only one month and has won almost as many games as the vikings.... the packers are a very strong coherent team, and the team atmosphere is more important than many think. Teams with superstars and pre Madonnas, players that are ultra hyped and overpayed, like Dallas, 9ers, and specifically Justin Jefferson, tend to struggle with consistency. Packers are a next man up team, with real depth at wr, meaning they can run long routes, then substitute, to wind opponents and have fresh legs. The effort they can exert blocking is also increased massively when there's 6 number 1 receivers.

You don't go off of last year's performance or your perceptions of what was expected of them. This list is about what is happening this year. Minny is playing better than the Chiefs at this point and that can change. They have beaten better teams and dominated all three of their games. Jeffs and Mad Dogs' logic isn't making sense. Minny should be there, they have beaten SF and Houston and held both teams to a combined 25 total points then when you add in the 6 points allowed from the Giants in their first game and the grand total is holding all 3 teams to a combined 30 points for 3 games. Darnold has the most TDs and the highest passer ratings each week all in the 100s. They were dominant in all three of their wins. What are the Chief's stats as both Minny and Kansas City are 3-0? Jeff this isn't about "matchups" Per sportsnaut they have the Chiefs Defense at number 7 and the Pittsbrugh Steelers at number two Coming in at number one is: The Minnesota Vikings have the best defense in the NFL. After doing a phenomenal job against Kyle Shanahan’s offense in Week 2, the Vikings defensive coordinator just did it again. C.J. Stroud threw 2 interceptions and was sacked 4 times before being pulled in a blowout with a 25.0 ESPN QBR. Minnesota has only allowed double-digit points once this season and it’s effectively shut down two of the league’s best offenses. There’s nothing left to be said, the Vikings have the No. 1 defense in the NFL right now.

And an insanely consistent offense thus far, with huge contributions from their backup recievers, tight ends, and a decisive sam darnold. I believe todays vikings would defeat todays chiefs easily. If this is a list of best nfl teams come january its a whole different conversation. and i wouldnt disagree yet on bills or chiefs or a couple other teams over the vikings yet. We have been the most consistent team in the league from kickoff week one to beginning of week 4 and no one should be able to argue that. We have 0 3 and outs on the year. from a vikings team, thats insane.

Vikings woulda beat the Chiefs last year but the refs bailed the Chiefs out once again. Picked up 2 clear penalty flags and didnt call another all on the same play. That woulda put the Viks on the goaline . Vikings defense and run gane are much better this year. The Chiefs dont look as good right now. But theyve started like this before and got it together . Right now the Viks are better. But that could change by the end of the season. I dont think it will since the Vikings been smashing everyone without there 2nd and 3rd options at reciever. Vikings are loaded with weapons when everyone is healthy and the changes made on defense have taken the D from 11th last year to top 5 for sure. It might be the best in the NFL. Id prolly rank it 2 behind the Steelers.
