Maybe outside of Jim Brown most 50s and 60s player wouldn't do much today, but there were definitely some that could hold their own in todays nfl. Especially in the 70s and 80s. Brown was said to run a sub 4.5 and was 6'2 230. OJ was a track star and was 6'1 212. Dickerson ran a 4.4 and was 6'3 230. These dudes could definitely play today. The difference was back then players were a bit more even across the board as far as size, because you didn't have these massive offensive lineman and interior defensive lineman.
