Dlo has to produce on a consistent basis because of who the organization & fans view him as on this team. Correct me if I'm wrong, but tell me that they don't view him as their third best option in terms of scoring & assists. He has to produce in order for them to beat a team like the Nuggets or go on to win a championship. I do understand that's easier said than done. The Nuggets do understand how dangerous Russell can be. Hence, they would surely devise a slew of defensive schemes to prevent him from getting too comfortable. There's not much it would seem Russell could have done on his own in that lack luster performance. It, therefore, means Ham would've to devise ways & means to get Russell going offensively. It would seem as if Ham is out of his depth when it comes to creating these opportunities for Russell. Ham, it's simple, very simple in my view. Get Lebron off the ball more, and place that responsibility in Russell's hands for good stretches. The more he has the ball, the better he produces. Multiple touches are what's best for him. Utilize Russell and AD/Lebron in those pick & role sets relentlessly. The Nuggets would have to pick their poison.
