Put a power jackplate on the transom so you can fine tune the motor height based on weight of people. You can install venturi drains on the water and fuel compartments. It won't allow water in but drains when you are moving.

Nice job! My only recommendation is to move your fire extinguisher. 1st off it’s not practical to have to remove a seat to get to it and 2nd is if you are to have a fire it’s very likely to be an electrical fire and you would not be able to get to it since it’s where the fire is most likely to originate from

Yeah the engine is way too low apparently. I'm not sure about pontoon boat, but on most boat, you are supposed to install the engine with the bottom of the antiventilation plate level with the bottom of the boat. Just search outboard transom height.

One thing that I would need to fix is the open transom. It's very easy for something to roll right of the back with nothing to stop it.

Definitely reset your motor. Cavitation is incorrect. Adjust both height and resting trim. Otherwise you did it again! Just a beautiful boat.

That is one sexy Pontoon boat build. Congrats! Most outboards are surface drives. The middle of the prop should even have the riding plates of the pontoons Seems you need to raise the Outboard up a bit. I used the same kit to build my small houseboat. It's nothing fancy like your gorgeous build. Just a master bedroom and a kid's room with bunk beds, a kitchen, shower, and toilet. I use it for camping on the lake. Got tired of renting a houseboat 4 times a year.

What an awesome result on this project! Your wire management inside the console is stellar ( I’m a bit OCD on that stuff). Although I am not a Pontoon owner, I have a couple comments for consideration. 1: Rebuild the bar top so that the cupholder bodies are inside the console, more towards the middle of the surface (they look like knee knockers to me). ; 2: Find some slider seat rails for the bar seats so people can adjust to the bar; 3: wire your port and starboard pontoon lights so you can turn on the proper colors, red and green for port and starboard while underway and 4: In the future, think about getting an engine that can pull skiers and a bunch of passengers at the same time. In any case you have a wonderful boat and should be very proud of what you have built! I know I would be!

You built an amazing pontoon. Even the $80-$100k pontoons can’t compete with yours. Great job and your wiring under the bar is SEXY!!!! I’m a stickler for organized wiring. Only thing you asked about is the motor. Too me it looks like it’s sitting to far in the water. If it was that low with just you it will be even further down with more weight. I’m no expert on this but just judging based on how it looks. Overall great job! Love the channel and always look forward to seeing what you’re up to.

Boat looks great but I would change up the bar look. You have a beautiful luxury looking boat full of aluminum and then a cheap wooden diy looking bar. No hate, you are very skilled and everyone has different taste but I would wrap the bar with aluminum panels to match the siding, maybe do a stainless steel top too. Ideas for the next pontoon?

In my humble opinion the angle of your transom is more than most so maybe angle up the motor like your pulling it out of the water but not that much to see if corrects the trim. AWESOME VID.

Love it, awesome build!! The motor looks too low in the water, I think it was fine where you had it originally. The only thing I would change is the height of the bar area, I think it’s too high.

That fire extinguisher needs to be instantly accessible. Fires double in size every two minutes. Just imagine if it takes you three minutes to get to it. I know it isn't pretty, but a fire is a whole lot uglier. In fact, I'd have two, one in front and one in the rear because that firepit adds another place that you are at risk.

My thoughts as well. Never seen a outboard that low on a boat before. A lot of splashing water. But there are also a pontoon just in front of it. The top of the underwaterhouse should be level with the bottom of the pontoon.

Not at all. Can be fixed by trimming the motor as needed and from what I saw the motor needed to be trimmed down while it was underway. Beautiful build for sure but trimming the motor is just basic seamanship. Experience is a good teacher.

Boat looks great, motor looks like it needs to go up a hole and you need to trim the motor underway. Also put a rigging tube on the engine. Battery cables and gas line chafing on the aluminum probably won’t be good. Might need a bigger prop also
