Why would you draft Bo Nix over Michael Penix Jr or Spencer Rattler? Especially at 12 when you could trade up to get any of those 3 early in the 2nd round? Nix can’t really throw the medium and deep balls that well. At least close to his prime Drew Brees had medium velocity.

Nix isn't lasting to the 3rd. Not sure why guys hate Nix. All he did was run the offense, throw TDs and not throw picks and complete almost 80% of his passes. He has a better chance of being a QB in the NFL than Maye or Daniels. But he can't throw the ball 80 yards. Yeah, that happens in a real NFL game like never.

Yeah he is and rightfully so for 2 main reasons: 1- His 40 time is a huge issue unless you show me a cover outside CB who runs 4.5 or worse in NFL history 2- Coverage. What I mean is he was playing off coverage a lot and zone coverage. And since we know that Saban trains the DBs himself and likes to play press and he didn’t trust Terrion Arnold or Kool Aid in press a lot well teams look at that and they are hesitant.
