First Thoughts and Reactions to the New Lore! -- FFXIV Fanfest Keynote Lore Summary

The Magus sisters are a boss in FF4 who work for the villains of the game and are fought in a tower, though it's been a while since I've played FF4... But the other place they appeared was FF10, where they were a summon! Anima is also from FF10, which I think makes them fit pretty well to be the other primal (if they are even a primal lol) in the expansion

Estinien did say Vrtra right there in the trailer. I noticed some of the other reactors gloss over it.

There is lore about the twelve in the Ast 1-50 questline and the twelve are are plastered on some of thier abilities so i think it would be weird to fight them

There is lore, but it's very limited and we don't get much to work with. Also it wasn't actually confirmed whether or not we'll be fighting the 12, just that it involves them somehow. Of course fighting them is just what everyone jumped to, and I ran with the joke.
