Dhaka life is hard for its own people, but we have literally invented so many tricks to make it easy 😂. But, you can enjoy your stay here with some help here. Sorry to say, I actually laughed hard when I saw the amount of food for your first dinner. You can have a really great meal here in Dhaka if you know where to look. Another suggestion is to get out of Dhaka and visit other cities. That'll be better experience, hopefully.

I'm a fellow Brit by the way, Chester lad who is of Bangladeshi heritage & have vlogged in Bangladesh 3 times since 2012, so if you're after any opinions from a British perspective, look no further as I've a few vlogs in my ensemble to boot! By the way the national flag carrier of Bangladesh regarding its airline is Biman Bangladesh Airlines which came into existence barely weeks after the country gained independence from Pakistan, but it appeared according to your experience that US Bangla Airlines gave a far superior service & a flavoursome delight compared to Biman, in fact the flight crew seemed to smile more! I'd have love to have seen more of an interaction with @farandbeyond, but who knows? It could happen in a future video! By the way if any of the places on your agenda are close to any metro stations, it would be wise to use that light rail network to avoid the traffic chaos of the city, it'll be cost effective, less time consuming & you'll even get great views too from up high! Did you know that at least 90% of "Indian" restaurants in the UK are Bangladeshi (most notably Sylheti in origin) owned & run? Have an amazing escape my friends as you'll have never encountered anything like it & expect the unexpected; I'm looking forward to the next one! 🤗

Star Kabab, Dhanmondi and Try beef shikh Kabab, Mutton Leg roast and Plain Polao The month of Ramadan, it is hard to find good meal at daylight because almost everyone 's fasting.. Try to find good meals after having the Iftar meal.

Just stumbled on this. Irish - Bengali myself. May edit and comment as I watch along. So, Biman is actually the main Bengali carrier. US Bangla is like the equivalent of Ryanair to Aer Lingus. A new and modern terminal is being next to the airport you're in, and it looks the business. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the vids. Just make sure to get out of Dhaka. Trust me, as western born Bengalis, Dhaka can be overwhelming, lol. Edit - Exiting the airport at arrivals is hell 😂 Strange. My Irish bank card works fine with Uber in Bangladesh. Glad you used Uber as a reference. Always do it. They will grift you otherwise. So always be careful.
