I refuse to shop at Hot Topic anymore because of the fact that they've been caught stealing artwork online from artists and selling it on merchandise without their permission, or paying any sort of royalty towards the artist.

I like going in and seeing all the fandoms together in there, but I haven't bought anything from them ever since I found out a shirt I purchased featured art that was used without the artist's consent. I felt so disappointed. I'd do research on what they have on the rack before buying it. Blind bags aren't an issue really, they're made by toy companies. but keep and eye on the graphic tees.

I sometimes notice how generic some printed stuff looks. Like if someone just copied and pasted it on a shirt like those make your own shirt sites. Some of its so lame too. Like a Disney shirt or anime shirt that was copied directly from some google search.

Be careful when washing and drying the crew necks from hottopical. The material will get picky. If you wash in cold water and hang to dry it should be okay. Read the tag! Have a nice day!
