Hey Will, love your videos. Just curious, what is your daily driver?

What is that grinding noice you have at 7:23? Mine had exactly same issue and I believe it was wheel bearing? For me it was present only in high G force corners... I changed the wheel bearing on rear, but have had no time to go for track day so I can't confirm the issue.

Are you on a stock driveshaft? If so that was the same noise I had in the rear when decelearing at highway speeds. It was my u-joints on the driveshaft worn shaking like crazy. I ended up replacing it with another lower mileage driveshaft but since your tracking it I recommend going with the carbon one piece driveshaft! Hope this helps take care and God bless!

Not sure. First time hearing this sound and it's inconsistent. No noise during regular driving.

@@elijahtolentino_ I have a carbon driveshaft.

@@WillsGarageOfficial Yes exactly like mine. I really think its the wheel bearing but if you manage to find out the root cause pls let me know!

@@WillsGarageOfficialhave you diagnosed it yet? I’d think a bad wheel bearing would make a constant sound. If it is a wheel bearing, be sure to replace before going back on track or else risk a nasty spin. When I first heard the noise without reading comments I thought it was a brake shudder but looked like you were accelerating so I was perplexed and now curious to know the outcome.

How do you like the Epic Race tune? Do you notice the difference in power?

Any feedback on the Carbon Driveshaft yet?

Can you share your GoPro setting/setup and sound setting. Video and sound is great.

GoPro audio set to stereo with external mic adapter + Rode VideoMicro microphone. The case is made by Ulanzi and works well to hold the mic adapter and microphone all together.

Do you have stiffer transmission mounts since there is a lot of play in the shifter? There is no need to go into 2nd with the 4.44 third gear has enough rpms you actually lose time go into second then rpms are too high to get on throttle plus the shift alone costs you time versus third. As for the exhaust in my opinion the Akra Evo full system is the way to go. It's extremely light and not loud that's one less thing to worry about.

I’m still running OEM and considered upgrading to revshift. Do you have these?

@@WillsGarageOfficial personally, I recommend 034 Motorsports trans mount, they feel great on my car. It's around $34 for both of em
@JobanM2C7 ай бұрын
@@WillsGarageOfficial I run Bimmerworld engine and Revshift 80A transmission mounts. Before this upgrade when I would go through a chicane you could feel the entire drivetrain shifting which wasn't fun to downshift. I didn't notice any NVH and considering your car is all stripped out anyway I would upgrade.

How do you find the Drexler? And how do you find the difference going from a stock fd to a 4.44?
@WillsGarageOfficial6 ай бұрын
Car has better traction with the drexler. Don’t get 4.44 if it’s a street car. It’s horrible on the highway but super fun on the track. I suggest comparing with 4.10 before you decide.
@zoohere982596 ай бұрын
@@WillsGarageOfficial can you see your laptimes improve with the shorter gearing? Is the acceleration noticeable? Yeah the car sees more track than street so I don’t really mind it to be honest going for a shorter gearing and the local tracks are good with the shorter gearing. But yeah will have to research more into it.
