Mario world was so amazing, I think it's was because they had built it up so the sky was the only outside part you could really see. Amazing design, all encompassing. 🥰 Just saw Harry Potter part and it was the same all the chimneys gave the land a feeling of continuing further then beyond the horizon, wonderful design.

I just got back from Japan and I think you need to add Hollywood Dream to your list of USJ rides for the next Japan trip. If you liked the flying dinosaur, you would LOVE Hollywood Dream. Super fun coaster. Watching your vlog brought me back to being at USJ a couple weeks ago. Definitely check out city walk next time too! There are def some good food spots! I think it was a Tuesday or Wednesday when we went! There were plenty of slots but later in the day and we got to the parks after they had been open a hour or half a hour Good luck!

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.

If you like more things to do and more organisation but don't mind a very strict environment, then Japan is for you. If you like a more relaxed and chill environment but don't mind things to be very disorganised, then Hollywood is for you

I’m not actually sure, but there was test seats outside of restricted rides, I have to admit when I was 22 stone I might have struggled to get into some rides here (I couldn’t fit in some Orlando rides at one point)
