Actually this is not South Indian marriage.. this ceremony is only celebrated in Christians.. Mangalore Hindus and Muslims never celebrate this.. and also south India me har jagah nhi celebrate kiya jathe.. being a mangalorean we Muslims never ever seen such celebration in our community.. Anwari Kuch log confused he ye Muslim culture he, Ap bathana chaheye unlogonkeliye aisi celebration se musslmanonka door door thak koi connection nhi he.. jaise north me musalmanonki shadi hothi same thareekese south me b musslmanonka shadi he.. this culture is only celebrated in Christian community
