Oh esme… your literally living the dream. You did so amazing both of you. It’s so comforting ( not sure that’s the word 🤦🏽‍♀️) that even you that rides everyday and go out and about as part of your job/hobby still get nervous and worried. As I get older and not constantly riding due to having young children , my confidence is shot but this video made me feel so much better. Thank you esme for this gorgeous video

thank you for this!! i just sold my pony, and started leasing a new horse. shes very forward. i used to trust her a whole lot, until at a holleween party, i saw riding her with no stirrup work. suddenly she bucks and bolts. she kept bolting faster and faster until i decided to fall so it didn’t get worse. after a month, i finally started trusting her until, a few days ago she bolted one agian leaving me flying. ive had all my confidence knocked and this helped💗💗

Love this! Cross country was my favorite part of eventing. The jumps can be totally intimidating cause they are usually solid fixed objects, so you won't just knock down a pole. You and Joey are doing so well and it looked like you were both having a good time out there.

One time I lost my confidence because I had a slip up and it felt like the end of the world. But when I got back on after a few days to touch on it, it all felt ok again. The stables are definitely my happy place and ever since day, every time I fall I get back on and laugh about it. And I learned that FAIL stands for First Attempt In Learning. U learned this by my many friends and trainers…and you. 💗

Sooo exiting! You have inspired me to try X C in the future! I always found it sort of scary (b/c there are no bars to knock down if the horse hits it) and wanted to try it, but when somebody told me two of her best friends died from it, that tormented me and I never tried it after that. But now that you are facing your fears of X C I think that is what made something blossom inside of me and now I won't just be doing showjumping but Cross Country as well! Thank you so much Esme!
