Just seen the notification for new detecting permits on Cleethorpes beach. Day permits only. Not allowed beyond end of pier Wonderland side and front of pier the other side up to Leisure Centre. Any thoughts on this. No chance of getting caught in the mud now is there!

Hi Chris,I am aware its a total joke relay,isn't it funny how they wait till after the elections,my opinion its still pretty much a ban and I recon come September when it's up for review they will go all the way

I’m off there this weekend and hoping to get on the beach for a few hours…am I right I have to stick to the minuscule area the council have “aloud” on there petty map?? On the crown website it’s all still purple and detectable??

@andrewtyers451 best sticking to map the coucil have set out and also get your permit for the day your going, them enforcement officers are like vultures
