FIRST TIME Backpacking the Sierras!! Deer Lakes + Duck Lake Loop

Man, I love your posts. You "unremarkable" people have some of the most remarkable posts and adventures. This one reminds me of the time 4 of us went into the trailless area of the Wind Rivers in Wyoming for 16 days. We only saw evidence of others once in the 14 days off the beaten path, at the top of Jefferson, tracks (not ours) going up to the summit and heading down the other side from where we came up. Adventure on!

Wow that sounds incredible! I can't wait to explore deeper into the Sierras but I might have to add the Wind River Range to the list too... so many incredible places to go!!
