I retired from Cracker Barrel. Actually that is probably the safest place for you! Cracker Barrel WELCOMES RV and van dwellers. Of course they hope that you will buy something in the store or have a meal there but it's not required. Camping areas are also on camera and you will not find that "boondocking" elsewhere. I actually loved that you stayed in their parking lot and had breakfast there. :) Lovin big T as always!!!! *gentle hugs to him*

We've always loved Cracker Barrel but ours here in Jackson has fallen on some hard times. Hopefully they'll get back on track soon. It's always great to see Big T. There's just something special about dogs in their senior years. Always great music selections. Hope your weekend is great.

Great video! Congratulations on your first boondocking experience. Cracker Barrel is awesome. We make it a point to stop there whenever we start and end a road trip. Huge menu so there's something for everyone (hint: the chicken pot pie is a favorite of ours and you don't have to wait long for it if you're in a hurry). Personally regarding Big T, I believe that God is looking after him, veterinary care and your love for him is the best for your fur baby. My 13 year old poodle is on a prescription special dog food that cost $5.00 a can. You can’t believe the comments I get. My vet & I know the health so as long as your baby is eating, semi active, enjoying life, continue to do pamper, spoil and love each day with your buddy. I am not blowing off steam just get a bit upset when people give unwanted advice when I pay for the food and health care.

Lenoir seems to be a much bigger area than I thought. Looks like a nice little city and looks like a safe place to boondock. Cracker barrel has really gone downhill the past couple of years but glad they still offer a good service to traveling customers. Be safe.

Mike and Karen, love all your videos. I have a question about Big T, his gait looks like he has arthritis in his hip or maybe a previous ligament tear. I am asking because my Sophie who is 12yrs Poodle recently experienced a cruciate tear on one leg and problems with hip on the other side. She is walking much like Big T, the vet did put her on meds but so far not much progress two weeks in.

I think Big T has arthritis. The vet could give you medicine for it .l have arthritis and l m restless all night ,trying to get comfortable.
