First time buying BTS tickets... (I screwed up)

Attempting to buy BTS concert tickets for the first time was pretty confusing and I ended up totally screwing up when it was my turn in line to select seats for the Permission to Dance on Stage Las Vegas shows. Did I actually get tickets AND keep my sanity? You'll find out...

I wasn't as lucky as you in getting in so fast! Seemed like you definitely could have gotten a better seat, maybe even floor but not 4 seats together. Your mistake helped you to get 4 tickets as fast as possible! haha

I went to the Los Angeles show on the last day. And I had no problem getting floor seats on my first try. I'm a 2020 ARMY also, and my husband isn't a fan, but he has been very supportive, and he will be going with me to Las Vegas. I got seats in section 140, row 8. Pretty good seats, I'm happy. We will be goint to the last day again, on the 16th. I thought I would also try for the Live Play on the 15th, since I will be arriving fairly early the day before. We will see. I'm the same when it comes to not wanting to hurry. I'm getting to Las Vegas in the afternoon on the 15th and leaving for home in the early evening on 17th. I hope you have a great time. 💜

Congratulations on getting your tickets! I got tickets as well and it will be my first time seeing BTS. This was the most stressful concert ticket buying experience I’ve ever gone through! Followed all the presale steps and watched several ticket buying tip videos after actually getting a presale code. Like you, I had very low expectations for my success, but was shocked when I was placed in the Que at 550. Within 5 minutes I was buying tickets. Thankfully I had scoped out which seats I wanted by using virtual seat tool on Allegiant website.. My hand was shaking but got front row C133! Enjoy! Btw you have a great camera presence! Do you sell your crafts on Etsy?

I do have a Sewing Report Etsy shop mainly sell sewing supplies & fabric, but not finished or handmade items. Etsy will suspend / terminate shops violating intellectual property (copyright & trademark issues) so you're not supposed to sell BTS fan merch or anything to that effect. You can make items for personal use, but can't sell them.

Ahhhhhhh hearing your story made me want to scream in disbelief but I’m proud of you for still managing to get good seats and with less stress and mishaps! I hope you have an amazing time!🥳 I was fortunate enough to get 100 level tickets for Day 3 and Day 4 even though I waited in the queue for an hour! I have been buying BTS tickets since 2019 and have been incredibly lucky, I usually get my seats within 15min (this was how it was for me getting PTD LA tickets) so I was pretty stressed this time around when it took an hour 🤣 I’m so excited to go, BTS have been my joy and my inspiration for over four years now 💜 You will have an amazing time! Biggest advice for concerts is to make sure that you stay well hydrate, give yourself a lot of time to get into the venue and plan your transportation for after the concert well because it can be a nightmare sometimes if you are from out of town. Just let loose and have fun!

@@xxhyunkx5271 you have the highest chances of buying BTS tickets if you have an Army membership, its not 100% guaranteed that you will get tickets when it comes to the ticket sales but it does raise your chances

LA was so stressful. I even had the MOTS presale code for the canceled tour and ended up with nosebleeds after like 3 hours of trying and getting errors. I still had the best time though. For vegas it was a breeze and got barricade for 2 days since I luckily got in early. Have fun!!

I am exactly the same. It was my first time getting BTS tickets and I was so nervous, but somehow got 3 tickets in a row 2nd row from the stage. I’m still in shock haha but I will be there on the 15th in B2 😊 Also I have never had a desire to go to Vegas because I don’t gamble and I’m more a drink with friends at home because I feel too old now to go out haha

Congratulations, Ill see you there. Those are still really great seats. Also dnt forget to get your Army Bomb Lightstick. You can get it off weverse shop or at the concert. The concert line will be ridiculously long tho. Are u bringing other ppl with you with the 3 extra tix? Also go Twitter to BTS Merch Updates has all the info on bag policies and covid policies for the concert Also with spirit you only get a free personal bag. You have to pay for a carryone.

Really enjoyed this! I didn’t try this time because I failed at the process when they came to L.A. and the experience was so overwhelming and stressful that I didn’t feel like going through it again! If you have an extra seat and need company, I’m within driving distance haha! I loved how you felt like crying afterwards….the adrenalin rush exhausted your emotions. I’ll be following for your vlog. I’m going to Vegas too. The LA show was my 1st BTS concert so I can tell you they are amazing in concert, You are going to have a great time. I went to LA PTD day 1 only and saw on video that each of the 4 days was slightly different so I wanted to go multiple days in Vegas so I’m going to all 4 shows. For LA I bought resale so this was my 1st time trying to buy tickets. That said, seeing the LA concert, I wouldn’t want floor seats, unless it was for sound check, because BTS move up, down and around the stage so if you’re on the floor you mainly see them by looking up at the big screen anyway since floor can’t see the entire stage. You look like you got good seats to see everything. BTS did travel in a “cart” around the stadium near the 1st section off the floor so I was 4 rows away from them 😊, I didn’t know they did that.

I got hooked on them last year! I'm ARMY! I love it here, LOL! The way HYBE/Big Hit does the marketing for them is fantastic! I appreciate them for their commitment to the fans. Definitely different from my experience in being an NSYNC fan. I wasn't into them as much. The shows they've come out with allow the viewers to know them individually and collectively.

Wow you got soo lucky without even knowing it. 😁 it took me like 2 hrs to get in but most were gone so I had to pass. I saw them in LA it was fun. My daughter and I traveled there from Chicago. You will see tons of Army at the airport, so feel free to wear your BT21 gear. It will be fun, the fandom is super nice at the venue ( and airport). It is nerve wrecking for sure. You cannot bring that camera nor the tripod :( but have fun! Also yes, most seat was open for you during ticketing, you could’ve bought floor and probably pretty close floor seats. I got into d4 25 mins later and was able to secure silver soundcheck so I’m sure you would’ve been able as well. It’s ok though, stuff happens. Enjoy your trip!

to be honest, any seat is a great seat at a bts concert… i’ve seen their concerts from down low all the way to the top, and you won’t regret it no matter what. there will be a huge screen so you will be able to see the members just fine!

I think the reason you were able to get tickets easily was because everyone is trying to get the best seats possible but you chose seats higher up so less people would try for those at the time.

You said you didn’t want to stand the whole time. That said, you probably got the best seats possible (depending if you want to watch from the front or get closer to the stage and watch from the side). I wanted to get first row because my daughter is short and can’t see well when everyone is standing. You could have tried for floor, but 4 seats together probably would be tough, and floor stands the whole time with their phone cameras pointing at the boys most of the time. In my opinion, it’s hard to see there (if you’re short). I don’t know, I think you got really, really, good seats. I really wanted to get first row of any section but they were all taken when I went in. Now I’m just praying short people stand in front of my daughter so she can see.

Just watched a few vlogs of people who had floor seats and I'm not sure I'd be able to handle the chaos. I checked one of those websites where you can see the view from your seat and it looks like I'll have a good line of sight to the stage with no obstructions, so that seems cool to me. I'm also pretty short, so it would definitely be an issue if I was surrounded by people standing the whole time holding up phones and ARMY bombs. I did not realize how lucky I was to get in so early from the queue.

This was my experience: 1. Signed up for the presale. I'm already an ARMY member. 2. I Got the email that I was registered. Then, I was selected to get a code. (I did hear some people say they didn't get code, though they had the membership. 3. I made sure all my payment info and such was on Ticketmaster. 4. I did look at the floor layout/plan early with my friend to decide where we wanted to sit. This would be my first time seeing BTS, so I wanted soundcheck and floor seats. I made sure all my payment information was on there. 5. I got the code on March 1. 6. I work from home, so I had the Ticketmaster tab open all day and looked at the countdown multiple times during the day. You could definitely say that I was anxious. Though, I did tell my friend, "If we get them cool if not, it's ok." Again, first time trying to get tickets. 7. When the 30mins came, I thought I would be automatically put in the waiting room. I refreshed the page and got in. Once the countdown hit 0, I was put in the queue. I was 1179, so I was shocked! My anxiety was up there. Like, I should have taken an edible, LOL! 8. Once my turn came, I was on the seating chart looking for tickets. Again, I wanted floor seats and as close to the stage as humanly possible. To my surprise, B2, B3, & B4 were all taken. I was like, DAMN! Then, two corner seats in B2 were available. 9. THE SCREEN KEPT FREEZING BECAUSE THERE WAS SO MUCH TRAFFIC! I REFUSED TO REFRESH THE PAGE. I tried for the seats, but someone got them. They were Gold Soundcheck seats, too! 10. two seats in B5 kept starring at me, but I didn't want them. Granted, they were Silver Soundcheck, but I wanted close to the stage. I didn't see any seats that I was like, "THOSE SEATS! THOSE ARE THE SEATS I WANT!" However, those seats are direct across from B4, directly next to the barricade, directly next to the stage! 11. I got Silver Soundcheck! 12. I sat in silence for a good ten minutes because I was in shock, and my nerves were terrible. The exciting thing about this entire process was that aside from the screen freezing, which wasn't surprising, it was instead a simple experience for trying to get BTS tickets for the first time...soundcheck tickets at that! I'm convinced those two seats were meant for my friend and me. The number of times the screen froze, those tickets remained. It's not like the other seats were terrible because all the seats around us were taken. I did immediately book the hotel when they announced the concert. The tickets were crazy expensive. However, I had $830 in points, so my friend and I paid $325 round-trip each. Overall experience getting BTS tickets: 9.5/10. The .5 is the screen freezing. Though it was bound to happen, my anxiety wouldn't have been as bad.

You would definitely had issues if you tried for better seats.😂 and ticketing was stressful in the past. I'm not an army anymore but I remember that it was just wonderful to see them and I don't think you need any kind of special preparation. 🤣 just as you said make sure to have your ticket and check what you can bring to the shows.

I found getting tickets this time was unrealistically easy.....alot has to do with ALL tickets were open to sell vs LA PTD were there were pre sales before the army presale... (Sofi opened up sales to their high end ticket holders and presale for the cancelled world tour ticket holders) For LA, only a certain amount of tickets were available for each presale.....with vegas...no surprise to anyone with the army pre-sale that alone would sell out the (4) concerts....
