Love the funky music in the beginning. So different than all the other camping moody music so many are doing.. I noticed immediately. Gives a happy positive vibe! Thanks for another amazing video.

Hey Ryan, awesome channel. I live in Japan right now and thinking about jumping into Snow Peak products for camping. I have a family with a 1.5 year old and I think they would enjoy a similar setup. I have always been a UL gear head but this looks amazing for the family! Looking forward to more of your updates & videos.

Hey, thank you! We started off the same way as well when our son was 2 years old. We had all UL gear and then gravitated towards a weekend camping setup for the family and the gear has made the trips so nice for everyone! Appreciate your support on here, we’ll keep the videos coming!

Hi Ryan, I would be interested to know how Emmett’s new sleeping pad plus your Exped Megamat Duo 10 fit in Alpha Breeze, and if there’s still space for side table and stuff. I also have an Alpha Breeze and an Exped megamat duo 10 and a 3.5yo boy😊 I’m hesitating on buying the side table because I will eventually need an extra sleeping pad for the kid and I may run out of space. Thanks!
@rtmadani6 ай бұрын
Hey, we've used this exact setup in the Alpha Breeze as well and it worked great. The mattress is the petite size, so only 66in long and 20in wide. Are you thinking about getting the round single action table low M or the Single action my table? I think with the round single action it may be too crowded but the single action my table is great for a nightstand nested towards the back.

Another great video and great set up. Do you know of other brand grill tops that would fit in the snow peak IGT set up? I have looked high and low for one in the UK and they seem to be like hens teeth
@rtmadani3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately, I haven't seen anyone with other brand stoves in their IGT's, but I'm sure there is something. You should put this question up the Snow Peak Addicts Facebook Group, I bet someone has tried something and I know we have members in the UK on there as well!

Ryan, really enjoy your videos. I’m very impressed with the content and I’m already creating a wish list of gear to upgrade my family outings this year. Quick question, you mentioned on one of your videos that you had a heater for your tent. I have not seen that listed on any of your descriptions. I was just curious since that would be nice on those colder nights. Also, I’ve noticed you use just wool blankets on a lot of your trips. What temperature range do you find that is adequate? That would certainly be more comfortable than a traditional sleeping bag.
@rtmadani8 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you, really happy to hear the videos have been helpful! So I've been using the Kovea Cupid Butane Heater for colder months, primarily at night before bed and in the morning. It's great for small/medium size tents and heats up the entire place, but for larger tents it can take a bit longer. There are no safety sensors on this heater, so it's not rated for indoor use like the Buddy heaters. For the blankets, we've been using them for year round camping as cold as 12degrees F. We layer up to three blankets in these temps, so to be honest, it's a lot of blankets to bring and I think sleeping bags would be a better choice for really cold temps. However, in the mid 40s or warmer, we either use 1 or 2 blankets. The Exped Mattress we use also contributes highly to the warmth as well. Recently we got some Snow Peak Ofuton sleeping bags to try and I'm interested to test them out because it's not as constricting as a traditional sleeping bag. I'll be putting a video up soon of thoughts on those bags as well. Thanks again for your comment, I appreciate your support!

Thanks for the info. I also have the Exped and love it but highly recommend the Hest Foamy mattress and their camping pillows. I use the wide 30” mattress for solo trips. The only negative it is very large rolled up.

That's awesome, excited for you to make it out there! They have a couple vehicles that can help with transporting gear as well. All the tent sites come with the Single Action Large tables, red folding chairs, and a Takibi fire pit on site. Thanks for watching and have fun out there!

Hello Ryan been following up for a while now. Lime your set up, in fact you’re instrumental for me into getting myself the tabi ki fire & grill😊 Quick question, Was it really difficult to book a spot at the snow peak camp field? I got NO luck even just trying even for next year, qny tips for me? Thanks😊

That is certainly a different style of camping than is usually practiced in the Pacific Northwest. After walking around the Snow Peak grounds the other day to check it out, I think I’ll continue to stay at Cape Disappointment State Park, which isn’t associated with a line of products, but has two adjacent lighthouses, trails, ocean beach and proper fire pits. I don’t see this fussy, curated, hipster glamping catching on around here, frankly.
@rtmadani2 ай бұрын
I also enjoy Cape Disappointment and sadly it's an area I haven't explored much of yet. Next time I'm down that way I want to plan a couple days to check it all out. Campfield is definitely taking a different approach from traditional campgrounds here in the PNW. For my family, snow peak style camping has been a great way to get everyone out comfortably for weekend trips. Personally, I don't think it matters how you're camping, just getting out there is what it's all about!
