NCT is a group of unlimited members, although as of right now, they have 21 members They are split up into subunits. The leader is Taeyong, he had the red hair in Black on Black. He is the Main Rapper, Main Dancer, Center, and Visual for NCT 127 and NCT as a whole. The easiest way I think to figure them out is NCT is like the magazine Vogue. NCT 127 (9/10 members) is like Vogue Korea. NCT dream (rotational unit, currently 7/6 members) is like Teen Vogue. WAYV (Chinese sub-unit, 7 members) is like Vogue China. NCT U is like Vogue Special Edition. (Members switch in and out) NCT 2018 is a yearly Vogue Edition, although they only did this in 2018, when they still had 18 members. Getting into nct might be a bit hard since there's so many sub units and members but its totally worth it! Their music is very good and im sure you'll find a sub unit that fits you the best, if you want to learn more about them with an introduction video make sure its an updated one since there's 21 members now! And they were all added slowly over the years

NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology, which reflects the concept of their subunits. They currently have 5 subunits: NCT 127, NCT DREAM, NCT U, NCT 2018, and WayV. NCT 127 is based in Seoul, South Korea (hence the 127, being the longitude coordinate of Seoul). NCT 127 is a (mostly) fixed lineup, because new members can be added but the lineup deos not change like NCT U (read below). NCT DREAM members are all under 20 years old in international age (which is why Mark and Haechan are no longer in the current lineup) and the intent of the subunit is to appeal to the younger, teenage audience. NCT DREAM is an age-based subunit, so new members can be added and members that turn 20 will graduate from the unit. NCT U has a different lineup every single comeback based on the concept, and the members that fit the concept will be put into the lineup. This is a “rotating” (but not really) subunit and is does not have a fixed lineup at all. NCT 2018 was all the members that was in a subunit (or more than one subunit like Mark, Haechan, etc was) in 2018. There were 18 members as of 2018 (in no particular order: (Taeyong, Taeil, Johnny, Mark, Jaehyun, WinWin, Haechan, Doyoung, Lucas, Yuta, Jungwoo, Ten, Kun, Jaemin, Jeno, Chenle, Jisung, Renjun) WayV, which consists of all the Chinese or Chinese-speaking members (except for Renjun and Chenle, who are currently in NCT DREAM). There are 3 members (as of now) that were automatically added to WayV in 2019, so they weren’t part of NCT 2018. Those three members are Hendery, Xiaojun, and Yangyang. WayV (mostly) has a fixed lineup, although new Chinese or Chinese-speaking members can be added or Chenle and Renjun can be added to the lineup once they are no longer part of NCT DREAM. **NOTE: Some members can be a part of multiple groupes, for example,Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127 and Ten and Lucas from WayV are also in SuperM. It's NCT. NCT 2018 is NCT in 2018. Now is it 2020 so everyone from NCT is now NCT 2020. It is like that cause NCT doesn't have a limit of members like in 2018 they had 18 members and now they have 21 members. It is NCT. The video/project was in 2018 (2 yrs ago). The group wanted to do something to showcase all of the members together. NCT is made up of different subgroups... NCT 127 (the main group, these are permanent members), NCT U (made up of different members), NCT Dream (the teen group.... Mark is the only member who is in all 3 groups) & WayV (the Chinese group, Ten/the best dancer of all of the NCT groups, Lucas & WinWin are also members of NCT U/Dream). It is confusing at first, but it makes sense when you take the time to listen to their music. They are one of my favorite groups

Okay for recommendations, you could start with: -NCT127: Limitless (performance version. Please it has to be performance version). Or you can start with their first mv: Firetruck. -NCT U: 7th sense -NCT Dream: Go. Or you could do a double reaction on that the same video and start with their first one: Chewing Gum. Then do Go. I recommend that because you can clearly see their growth and how much they’ve changed from “babies” to teens. Such growth is unique in Kpop and is definitely worth your time. A mind blowing change. Even the evolution of their concept from Chewing Gum to Go is mind blowing. It is an amazing experience I’ll recommend. It is, in my opinion, the best way to go with NCT Dream. -Wavy: Turn back time.

NCT has actually a lot of sub-units such as NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT U and WayV(im not sure with this one, I just know they are the chinese version of NCT). In my opinion, NCT127 Is actually the most popular among the others however all of their sub units are actually great! I think pausing can actually be better for the viewer in this situation because you get to see the exact moments when things click into place or blow reactors away. I think it’s better to pause than talk over the video so I appreciate this method.

You do realize that sometimes as a streamer reacting to vids that pausing said vid is good or else youtube can give them copy right claims..... And also we like it when they pause and tell us what they are thinking at the very moment .. that means they are true reactors cause if you watch reactors that don't pause at all and wait til the end to tell you what they think ... that's not a true reactor those are clout chasers.
