You should have the idle adjusted better at the motorcycle shop. Furthermore, riding a motorcycle is not that difficult, safe riding is another thing. Be aware that if you do not have a good view at intersections, for example if the wheat is 150 cm high or something else. it is always better to stop and look first. I myself have crashed into the front of a car at full force. Warn your father about that.

Not necessary to leave a petrol engine running idle for 30mins in the morning. 5 minutes at most. For modern engines no need at all.
