bro who are you me. I'm legit such a big eater but whenever it comes to olive garden those unlimited breadstick dipped in chicken gnocchi soup gets me so stuffed I cant even finish my chicken shrimp carbonar and have to take it home but dont forget to get that additional take home entree for only 5$ and sometimes if they nice they throw in a free side salad even though you already got the soup so blessed. Thats a extra 3-4 meals for the price of one

As a former server that worked there, hardly anything is made fresh in house. The breadsticks come in boxes. The freezer and walk in are filled with boxes of already made, frozen and non frozen items. They just basically take the frozen food, put them on speed racks to defrost, and then throw it on the flat top or skillet, or in the fryer or melt to warm it up and mix with premade pasta and warmed up sauce. Some items just get cooked/warmed up in the microwave. The only thing i saw semi made in house was the soups. But they would just make huge amounts of it and then put it in portion bags to be warmed up during the shift as needed. The lasagna was premade (frozen) and cut into slices that they would just sprinkle more parm cheese on and put more meat sauce around it and then put it into the melt to melt the cheese and warm it up. Obviously it didnt matter to most customers and they couldnt even tell, but paying the prices they did for literally frozen and then warmed up dishes, as a server i felt bad. Especially after working in places where literally 90% of everything was made fresh in house.

Even tho ya it was technically 20%, but the total of the bill shouldn’t be the only thing that determines a servers tip. Oh well glad I don’t work there anymore lol 🤷‍♀️
