I cry every time and I’ve listened to it esp this version , thousands of times. This was the first song I heard from her back when it was released and was such an important time In my life to discover it. Now here I am and know every word to every song she’s made (I already know every word to the new album) still I listen to this and cry . It never fails. Its funny watching people see this for the first time.

I listen to rock 90% of the time, but Lana is it for me. She touches a part of the soul that is both happy and sad at the same time.
@Hadelrey62 жыл бұрын
16:58 she is an American singer and songwriter. Her music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia, containing references to contemporary pop culture and 1950s-1960s Americana

It’s from 2012, from my perspective found it goes along the lines of Taoism, just flowing and being like nature, pret ty cool stuff, she’s a poet so her lyrics always capture. Nice reaction, she’s not very popular but she kinda is, hope you explore more. 👋🏾✌🏾

@jspettifer2 жыл бұрын
She’s more popular with other artists. Taylor Swift says she is the most influential artist in pop Grimes has a Lana song as her Twitter quote and just posted “Lana must be the greatest living lyricist” Billie Eilish has talked about how much respect she has for her and how she got inspired by the song Off to the Races

When LDR went to Brazil for a Concert... there was an audience of over 100, 000 Brazilians, singing along to her songs... people who have English as a 2nd/3rd language..if they know it at all. Popular....she is!

your face expressions are amazing 😂😂😂😂 Lana is crazy good and an artist more like The Weeknd for example. They like to talk about heavy themes like toxic ass sex, relationships, drug abuse (most of the times personalizing the drug, so you think they're singing about a lover but in the end is cocaine) in a very harmonic way. I don't know if it's a 100% autobiography, but art is almost always at least a little bit autobiographic.

this song alludes to the theme of the singer depicting herself as being akin to a drifter. In other words, she does not appear to have stability in her life. And the paths that she chooses often lead her “into trouble”. Moreover, she apparently picked up this type of modus operandi from her dad.
@wanmuizzmahmood2 жыл бұрын
what a vibe! the way you smoke the room the wooden wall the flag just fit lana del rey's vibes. she's old school she's inspired by many artists from 40s to 90s. and yeah she's into old guy

This song came out late 2012. The album version doesn't have the bookended poetry pieces. She's in her mid 20's in the video. You're going to get a lot of views if you keep reviewing Lana. ;) (The song is about being on tour, "on the road")

Lana is a lot for a lot of people though saying she its opening ideas of depressing thought is an understatement. She writes values in truth of what people don't speak up about. She validates ourselves to know that we her in this video. We fix our lives to be with the next person, going out and doing the same thing over. If anything this video should reach out to say its about living your life your own way. Not trying to be this idealistic person who has to fit into the social world of what everyone wants us to be. Since we are all different, we are all crazy in our deepest fantasy but at least we are free. our life is our work of art, so do it as you please. GOD i love this video.
