You can spot Alternate 4th by using a blacklight on your white bordered cards. They glow differently and stand out.

That Regeneration art is something else. The lines are so clean and the colors are vibrant, it's a gorgeous card. I don't enjoy most artwork from the old eras of magic because they can be a bit hard on the eyes, but cards like Regeneration make me appreciate hand drawn work. 8:58 seems to be the best shot of it.

All lands in starter and tournament packs follow this order of one of each land of a certain art then another set of a different art. That’s the way the order is on the sheet of lands. It’s done deliberately that way by Wizards to guarantee an almost even distribution of land for sealed/limited players.

When I was playing, I actually used one of those deck boxes that these came in to hold one of my decks (dad gave it to me from back when he played). Wish Wizards still put out cardboard deck boxes like this.

same here!!! so cool to see this. I was 7 / 8 at the time and my uncle would take me to the card shop downtown and buy me cards. I just wish I could find them, even tho the revised/4th stuff isn't worth much I believe? I could have something there from one of the older sets, I'll never know til I find them either in my mother's storage unit or my stepdad's crawl space.

Its Island, Swamp, Plains, Forest, Mountain over and over, two extras (Island, Swamp) then it goes to next deck, and continues where it left off which was Plains, then Forest, Mountain, Island, Swamp. The order never changes, only the starting land does because there's not a multiple of 5 lands in the box, there's 17 or 22 (forget exactly how many lands)

I just stumbled across an alternate 4th Mana Vault in my collection today. I stuck out like a sore thumb from the other 4th edition Mana Vaults I have and started to look into Alternate 4th. Out of about 1200 4th edition cards I have, 7 of them were Alternate 4th.

From the wiki "These cards look extremely similar to standard Fourth Edition Magic cards in normal light. The USPCC versions often seem more vividly colored. So, thanks to this video, I went and checked my (very small) collection of sealed Fourth Edition starters and they're all Alternates (all two of them). Printed by United States Trading Card Company. They were not identified as such when I bought them. I gather this means they're worth somewhat more than regular Fourth Ed. starters, but there's not a ton of data out there to identify how much more. Is the difference in value mainly in the sealed product or in the individual cards? I'm highly unlikely to crack them, just curious.
