Congrats to the finalists, Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall. Absolutely unreal scoring from Michael Smith against Barney, doubles were quite poor but his scoring will give him so many chances, he just has to take them better and he will win the tournament. Apsinall is a fighter and will never give up, no matter what the score is but its all in Michaels hands. Lets go Michael Smith, i enjoy watching him so much and its his time, the major title is loading and i hope he breaks his duck here. And if he doesnt, its gonna take a monumental effort from Aspinall to win it, Smith isnt just gonna throw it away. Hes past all that and will just concentrate on the game today and do his best. If he scores like he did in the semi, he will give himself ample oppurtunities and its just about taking them.

Smith vs Barney is one of my favourite matches from this tournament. Seeing Barney get dominated, only to make that amazing comeback and make this one of the closest games of the tournament was brilliant. Barney proved he's still got a lot to give this sport and Michael proved himself a future legend. Considering Barney is a former Grand Slam winner and Smith went on to win this one, it almost felt like a passing of the torch from one legend to another. Great darts!

Foregone conclusion he'll storm into a 5 or 6 leg lead then lose it from there!
@yusufluhar58812 жыл бұрын
Its gonna be tough coz Aspinall is a fighter and even if hes 5 or 6 legs behind, he wont give up and has a chance to comeback but im with Bully boy all the way. Today is his day and hes gonna win it. If he doesnt, it wont be coz he bottled it but rather Aspinall would have played at his absolute best to win it. Im normally quite neutral but i want Michael to win coz the talent he has, he just needs that major and then that mental pressure of not winning a major is off and it will be lift off.

17 180's for Michael but his doubles were pretty poor for 8 or 9 legs . He could have won it way earlier than that without those pesky doubles misses . He knows he has to pay attention to that crucial aspect of the game . I am betting on him to get the win tonight .
