First Time FIXING a NITRO PULL START (Pull Start Replacement??)

First time fixing a nitro pull start/repairing a pull start for a nitro engine. I managed to remove the nitro rc pull start, take off the pull start spring coil and fix the pull string with some super glue.
Hopefully this video helps others out! This was NOT EASY and took about 3-4 hours to fix. If you don't want to buy a nitro pull start or you just want a crack at it, then watch this video! You've been warned!!!

Well atleast you done it mate. I had a 1/16 nitro buggy so you can imagine how small pullstart was. Coil came off and I gave up. Drilled hole in housing and removed string and put a couple slits in string roll so can start with a drill with a flathead bit.

my friend gave me some of his blind rope from his blinds from his apartment and he told me that it will last at least 2 years in my pull starter you should try that thats why im watching your video so i can put the blinds rope in it

That’s a good tip, will probably have to super glue it well on the housing or else it will just snap again

Good luck man! Definitely worth doing a couple times. After a couple other rips on the string, I just ended up buying one pre-strung haha
