First Time Flying BA Business Class. Not What I Expected!!

The old B.A. Business class seat does look cramped compared to the new product. However having used them for some years I switched to A.F. who are better on almost all counts. Highly recommend them, particularly as my usual long haul is over 11 hours to Paris short layover then on to London. For me the extra cost providing it’s not too ridiculous is worth every penny over economy on flights over 10 hours

Thanks for your review. Looks a fairly typical experience of BA's business offering - high price, average ground experience, below average F&B. Do try the class leaders e.g. Emirates, Qatar, Singapore and even Air France if you get chance by way of comparison

You got one of the best seats in the cabin, but unfortunately you got the old BA offering. The newer Q suites are being installed on all planes. I suspect that if you had chosen another flight you may have had a different experience . Never pay for flights with cash, it will cost an absolute bomb. Its easy to accrue a decent amount of AVIOS through everyday spend in the BA shopping portal, eg 3500 AVIOS for car insurance with comparison sites. Also the BA Amex card is handy for the boost and the 241 offer.
