Hair came out so pretty, although it did look crunchy. I would be curious to know how it lasted throughout the week and if it flaked at all. A twistout sounds like a good idea to try with my hair. I might give the product a try. I can't remember if you tried this already, but it would be nice to see a review of Melanin Haircare by Naptural85. I would also like to see taste tests.

First time I tried this with a wash and go, my hair was so crunchy and flaky. I used a moisturizer underneath the snot and it was still hard. I couldn't wear it a whole week because of the flakes. I use it for my edges primarily and sometimes on my ends after I use a gel to keep my ends neat and defined. I love this new series.

You know you like your curls soft and bouncy boo!! This is for edges or to slick up your hair in a ponytail. I would never use this for a wash and go! It's too hard.

I Swearr by this stuff! I got my best wash and go with this product! Less is definitely going to give you the best results! The more you use the heavier its going to hold.! Less is best. I also love to use the moisture and shine curl activator first by then the Gel, that way my curls are hydrated.

I use the snot and I like it. But the catch is you can literally only use a pea size amount, it mixed well with all of my cream leave in conditioners. Oh and your hair has to be dripping wet. If you use too much the crunch will last for a few days and it will eventually start to flake. Love your videos😍

You're right about the hair being extra crunchy, it works perfect for humid weather and as the days go the crunch goes away. My hair is a mix of 3c/4a hair and it I like it for that inky reason and it elongate my 4a in the back.

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love how it makes my wash n go’s turn out. It’s initially a bit crunchy, but as the days go on, the crunch disappears. I also tried the entire new “Honey and Shea Butter” line from Creme of Nature as well.

I love the curl activator of this line and I usually use the snot in a small dime size on my finger tips through my hair for a little added hold. Perfect for edges and slick downs.

So after experiencing vision issues from the use of eco styler gel, I finally gave this a try and it is BETTER than ecostyler gel AND HEALTHIER!!! Thank you for sharing your insight with us. Also it will flake if you use a product before using it. I use it on freshly washed hair and after the 2nd day I use the creme of nature leave in spray and continue every other day. ☺

Tried that products a while back. In my opinion it depends on how you use it to get your results. I got thick, coarse, low porosity hair and I discovered that your hair gotta be real wet when applying it to avoid hella crunch. My experience with it in a wash and go was perfect, my curls were defined for a long time. Although trying it for twist outs or braidouts is a hit or miss. Especially since your hair gotta be super wet when applying the product, it'll take like 3 days for it to dry. Also u gotta be careful how much u use with other products, cause it flakes easily.

Hey Kelsey! I've tried it for my edges and it LAID them thangs DOWN. However, it did flake up as the days went by. (Maybe by the 4th day) If I can find a way to possibly combat the "flakage" (as I call it lol) then I may try it in a Wash and Go because it's Hot as Fish grease here in Dallas and honestly, a crunchy 9-10 day Wash & Go has become acceptable to me, due to this weather. I would love to find a product that will define my curls and keep my hair soft throughout this weather, but I have yet to find one. Great video Love. 💋💕

I think i wanna try this product (minus the crunch) this is really cute style and it’s super shiny. I am definitely a twistout girl, I wear bantu knots all day everyday. I would love it if my hair was trained enough to do Wash and Go....butttt no matter the tutorials I just can’t do it. You have to apply this product after applying moisturizing products, so while you're doing a wash n go use this as a last step instead of using gel. It's great this way and I use it all the itme! Works perfectly

I have this flexible snot but I mostly use it with the moisture & shine curl activator crime from the same “for natural hair” line from Creme of Nature. I have fine 4a natural hair and I have to use very little of of both the snot and the curl activator creme because they weigh my hair down. I mostly like to use them in the fall/winter than in the summer.

I would recommend you try Twisted Aloe - the aloe gel moisturizer or the aloe flax seed gel!! I reallllly think you will like the products and there is also a leave in (i recommend using a liquid leave in vs a creamy one bc the consistency isn’t easy to mix with other products) for anyone interested in this brand!

This product is VERY thick, I would have NEVER used it all over my head. It literally is like cement! It’s awesome for slick downs. What I like about it, is that you can re-activate it with a bit of water the next day, if you wanna do your slick down again. It’s that tough! Lol. I can’t imagine what that would have felt like!!

My girls and I have more of kinky textures, so we wouldn't use as a product for a washNgo. But more for smoothing edges or ponytails. It does leave residue or product buildup 😬 A washNgo is an idea I'll keep in case I ever want to try it. 👍🏾

I’ve been using this for months ONLY on my baby hairs and ponytails. It is very very very hard and crunchy and the crunch last for a while!! I never thought about it on a wash n go so thanks for saving me the time lol!!! This really is a good product but only for edges and ponytails in my opinion!!! You need something heavier to scrunch out the crunch. I use a bit of Qhemet Biologics heavy cream that i rub together in my palms and then I divide my hair in two and wind from top to bottoms I only have to do this once. The Amla cream leaves my hair super soft from the crunchiest of gels (trust me, I have tried countless gels). Alikay Naturals Shea Yogurt works well too. You don't need a lot, just a bit.

I’m tickled about the crunch bc i literally used the Aussie instant freeze gel on each section of my hair a couple weeks ago and it was crunchy as hell 🤣🤣🤣 however my hair lasted almost a week... that product should only be applied to subsections like maybe 4-6 sections after a cream for a better first day turnout

Yes if you use it with a cream it won’t be as crunchy. I use it with the creme of nature curl activator cream and my wash and go will withstand going to the gym and extreme humidity. Those two together give me great results every time 😊
