Back in the 80’s... when someone was on your tip it meant they were sweating you. Like they were all up on you and were basically pestering you. We used to say that to each other all the time... “Damn Bro, back up... you’re all on my tip”

@@waltkash1972 I was because of what Chuck D himself said...."Adam and the Boys put us on our first tour 25 years and 79 tours ago. They were essential to our beginning, middle and today. Adam especially was unbelievable in our support from then 'til now, even allowing me to induct them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame," he continued. RIP MCA... Enjoy the fly spot with the Champagne. Their next album "Pauls Boutique" is so crazy....you have to hear it all. It is a "whole album" listen, slap on headphones, print up or get the lyrics, fire one up, and get lost in crazy town. It is one of the last albums that legally sampled the crap out of everything. Print out the lyrics, you will still be smiling when it's over. Love you folks...

Yes, to "on my tip", but no to "Wiffle Ball Bat". a Wiffle ball bat is a rather huge plastic bat that kids would use with a plastic ball to play baseball or softball. What he was saying about "did it with a wiffle ball bat" was referring to him using the bat on the girl while they were gettin' busy.

Wiffle ball bats are ribbed at the handle...which makes for more fun for the girl...if you know what i mean. when you are with a wild crazy girl, they are down for anything when getting busy, including play with "toys" on their body. I've had my share of fun with these types of girls and in the heat of the moment they are down for anything and everything.

Classic gold!!! I wore the chit out of this tape when it was new. This song was so popular with teens at that time - the MTV generation and skaters especially. I love hearing these old gems. Great reaction H&J. :-) I think that interesting bass sound was a bass-beat played in reverse. That entire album was fire: Girls, Brass Monkey, Fight For Your Right, and my personal fav: No Sleep Till Brooklyn. They were one of the first bands to really succeed in the market of blending hiphop sound and rock sound together.

It’s funny, watching a lot of reactions to this song and folks not knowing what a whiffle ball bat is and not realizing it’s a dirty lyric rather than violent, especially when it’s people around my own age. Understand it in the really younger folks, but the ones a bit older boggle me even more than my age hahaha, you know? Also, another odd thing I’ve noticed MASSIVELY where I can count it on less than one hand how many have caught that this is a story told in a “Wild West” era sort of setting. Swear to God, I’ve heard more than one person asking if this is how they really met and were absolutely serious in wondering. I appreciate those who can laugh with the lyrics and vibe with the Solid beat.

Hey guys! Just subscribed!! I know this song back and forth! I will spit every word basically to this whole album and I'm a 49 year old white girl!! Beastie's were phenomenal and you have so much more to listen to! They were very influential, Dre sampled a lot of their stuff on Straight Outta Compton (listen for Ad Rock's very distinctive voice on Dopeman). You guys are awesome! You just got yourself another subscription! Keep it going! You both should review Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me! You probably know it, but you should watch the video and break down the song! Much love to you both! You guys are sweet together ❤ Bye for now!
