Brothers are truly blessed when it comes to harmonies and two of these brothers are twins; their big brother has a lovely reinforced falsetto singing voice but they all have perfectly normal speaking voices. They are Barry Gibb (eldest), Robin Gibb (in White shirt) Maurice Gibb (in black shirt). We will never see their like again.

This was the "actual" live studio recording of this song. WHAT A STUDIO! A full orchestra, plants, and recording equipment? Are you kidding me? The only way to do it "right" ! And, they did it! When's the last time you saw a full orchestra in a recording studio? Yeah, didn't think so. Anyways, love your reaction video. I was lucky enough to grow up in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Our generation, without a doubt, had the greatest music of all time! Even people from today's generation think so after they've listened to these "old" songs.

Wonderful reaction to our precious Bee Gees! I'm a new subscriber and can't wait for more Bee Gees reactions! Please react to some of their earlier songs. Robin ( younger brother to Barry and fraternal twin to Maurice) had quite a few leads in the late 60's to the early 70's or shared the lead with Barry on many of their earlier hits. I'm going to suggest just two songs now that featured Robin. "I Can't See Nobody" is one song I'd like to see you react to first. This is such an emotional song from our precious songbird and you can really experience his wonderful performance if you use the 1974 Melbourne concert for your reaction. Talk about angels singing in heaven! I can assure you that you won't be disappointed if you react to this particular performance. The other song that I would like you to react to is Robin's signature song "I Started a Joke". Every time he performed this song live he received a standing ovation! If you use their 1989 Australian concert for your reaction, you'll see exactly what I mean. This song meant so much to Robin that he actually requested that it be played at his funeral in 2012. Again, you won't be disappointed reacting to this wonderful song. Robin's voice is just beautiful! Please consider these two songs to get to experience Robin's angelic voice and thanks in advance.

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️

It's like they invented harmony. Live band, no auto tune, no computerized voice enhancement and one mic for all three of them. Back then (1979). singing was just pure, raw talent. By the date of this recording, the BeeGees had already been singing together professionally for 21 years when Barry was 12 years old and the twins were just 9. All of the Gibb brothers including little brother, Andy, could sing in that amazing falsetto voice. But Barry was the master. He was able to exorcise more control over it. The Gibbs were, in my opinion, the most multi-talented families in music history. They wrote their own songs as well as writing songs for many other musical greats. This song was included on a compilation album to benefit UNICEF. There were many artists who recorded songs on the album, but the BeeGees gave all the royalties from this song in any form. In, at that time, an unprecedented move, they also gave UNICEF the publishing rights to Too Much Heaven. To date, Too Much Heaven has raised over 11 million dollars for UNICEF. In 1967, they wrote a song called To Love Somebody which appeared on their third album titled BeeGees 1st, but their first internationally, as the first two albums were only released in Australia. BeeGees 1st was released in July '67. Otis Redding was set to record To Love Somebody on his next album. Sadly, Otis was killed in a plane crash, Dec 10,1967. I thought for the longest time that they didn't record it themselves until after the death of Otis Redding. Their brother Andy Gibb had a very successful solo career as well until his death on March 10,1988. Just 5 days after turning 30. Andy had developed myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, which was brought on by a viral infection While most people recover from myocarditis, Andy's body was unable to fight the infection due to his history of drug use. Soo sad!

'The Bee Gees.' I was married a year before this song was released. The song would have been our wedding song, even if hubby said no. Maurice (on the right-short hair) While on his way to surgery for his intestines, he had a heart attack, yet the doctors operated anyway. (I heard Barry say this on a video.) He was in the hospital for only 2 days! Maurice (pronounced Morris) passed in 2003. I feel he should had been the lead on at least one song on every album. Robin (on the left-long hair) passed in 2012 from cancer. He and Barry complimented each other with their voices. Andy, the youngest brother, who had his own successful career. He passed in 1988, at the age of 30, from inflammation of the muscles around his heart. He and Barry could had passed as twins, even though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. The 3 brothers were also married and had children. Barry (in the middle) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. On September 1, 2021, he and his wife, Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary, which is also Barry's 75th birthday. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide (probably more.) They were also writers for other musical artists. Barry just completed a new project called 'Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook.' It is very nice! On a side note, their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76, January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. Listen to: How Deep Is Your Love ----- Night Fever --- Emotion (a song written for Samantha Sang) --- You Win Again

Here are some facts about the Bee Gee's: 1.Barry Gibbs is 2 years older than I am. I grew up in this Era called DISCO. 2.Barry was the lead singer and his brother's were mostly backup, but all 3 were GREAT. 3.This was Family Harmony at its best. (Three voices that sounds like one). 4.They were a normal band until they tried something different. 5.It was an accident, they decided to sing "FALSETTO" for fun. 6.The people loved it, and DEMANDED more. 7 This became their unique, signature sound, and trademark that shot them to the top. 8. Barry was the lead singer, Robin and Maurice HARMONIZED ALSO IN FALSETTO. 9.Their unique sound that made them famous. 10 If you listen close you can hear the Falsetto of all 3. 11. It became their standard. The Disco Era was dying at this point. 12. The Bee Gee's Music, breathed new life into the Disco Era. 13, That kept DISCO alive and popular for many more years. 14. The Bee Gee's wrote 1030 songs in their life. 15.They wrote many songs, for other famous artist, who made those songs famous. 16.They broke many long standing records, in their lifetime. 17. They wrote all of their own music. 18. And all 3 played instruments themselves. 19. They would be honored that a new generation is hearing their music. 20. Feel free to check out my facts for yourself.

The group the Bee Gees were brother's. All 3 brother's have falsetto range which made them that more talented. The Bee Gees have been recording as a group since the early 60's. The group became even more popular in the 70's. Their music could easily stand up today in rotation on any R&B or Soft Rock Radio station. Sadly Barry Gibb the lead singer is the only brother still alive. The youngest brother Andy Gibb not in the group, but a great solo artist in his own right passed away first. Maurice Gibb passed away then Robin Gibb passed away leaving only Barry.
