I don't know why? But, Billie Eillish and Khalid have that sound where it makes you feel like you're in a trance. I love this collabo though, it's definitely a vibe. Also, Billie Eillish collaborates with her brother Finneas on most of Billie's songs (if not all of her songs). Awesome reaction to a great song that I've never heard before!

It has always driven me insane that the lyrics say “I hope some day I’ll make it out of here, even if it takes all night or a hundred years”. THE RHYME WAS *RIGHT* THERE. Why the hell is it hundred and not thousand!!?? Gahh

Great reaction. I'm a big fan of Khalid and Billie and had to find the song's backstory. Apparently both of them were following each other on social media for years without knowing it. This was before anyone had heard about either of them. They both saw something in the other's voice that harmonized well. You picked up on it in your reaction. So when Khalid hit it big time, and moved to LA, it was only a matter of time before they'd collab. The echo reverb and background vocal layering is Finneas's (Billie's brother') talent. All three composed and recorded in Finneas's bedroom studio, which at the time was a closet in his tiny bedroom. There's a video interview on youtube showing the cramped conditions, which Khalid later recounted in an interview on the Ellen Show.
