He has 2 masterpiece albums. Flicker is his first album which is a bit more chilled out and vibey (a singer songwriter vibe). thats how he wanted to introduce himself into the music industry as a solo artist. (a lot of his songs will feel like ed sheeran to you cause he taught himself to play guitar when he was 12 years old so he automatically writes his songs around the medolies of an acoustic guitar so they have ed sheeran first album vibe) Heartbreak Weather is a more up beat album. on this album even sad songs are dressed up as happy ones. he made this with an intention to have more energy when on tour this time (which got cancelled due to corona ugh) but yeah this album is literally perfect. no skips.

The pronounciation is like you said it first, like hOran. He has two albums, flicker and heartbreak weather. He's done a world tour with flicker and he released heartbreak weather at the start of worlwide lockdown so this tour got cancelled. He's got a lot of upbeat songs bat also a lot of calm, sad songs. For upbeat songs I would recommend to react to small talk (live at the royal albert hall), mirrors, nice to meet ya, seeing blind (live in Sydney with maren morris. For slower songs still, too much to ask, flicker would be amazing. You should also concider that Niall live is on another level. But also please check out his unreleased song "champagne lovers" it's only ever been performed once on a livestream at the start of lockdown, but there are plenty of videos on KZbin. I´m going, to be honest here. ALL 5 BOYS have great music and it´s such a vibe that they each got their own type of genre. For me, I lean more towards Louis, Niall, and Liam´s type of music. Harry and Zayn, of course, got great music and I do listen to them. While in the band, it was Niall and Louis that were the underrated ones. But now, the least underrated is Liam. Liam deserves more recognition for his music that he puts out there, his vocals are insane. After Liam comes either Zayn or Louis, then Niall, and at the top is Harry, of course. But all 5 own my heart. I highly recommend to start with Niall´s first album, which is FLICKER, and then with HEARTBREAK WEATHER.

Flicker is a more chilled out album whereas Heartbreak Weather is a concept album and a quite upbeat. niall has two albums, flicker (2017) and heartbreak weather (2020). since you started with black and white, i'm thinking you could do all the songs in heartbreak weather before diving into flicker since the both albums kind of have a different sound (flicker is more the singer songwriter folky type and heartbreak weather has more energy). the lead single from heartbreak weather was nice to meet ya so i guess you should do that one next :)

Popularity wise for most fans, I think it went: Harry Niall Louis Zayn Liam I'm aware that this is not how it goes for everyone. It's not my ranking, but I think this is overall how it went in 1D days. Maybe Niall and Louis could be switched.

Here's the thing. Fandom Popularity is not the same as General Public Popularity. It can be, but when it comes to the 1D boys it's very uneven. From my perspective and that's without looking at any sales/hit lists or whatever, (I don't know stats) and also, I took a 3 year break from all things 1D fandom related stuff until the pandemic hit and I had nothing better to do, meaning there's a lot I am not aware of as my focus is mainly on Louis. It seems to me Harry is the clear favorite among both old 1D fans and the general public that became fans of solo Harry. And he has the critics love, something he's always had since the beginning of 1D. I still remember reading a review after one of their concerts in my country in 2014 and Harry was deemed the only real star among them. Harry's music is played a lot in my country. Zayn seems to have gained the most fans outside of 1D. Many 1D fans gave him a hard time for leaving and some can still not let go of that. They will never give him the chance. He's known among the general public and critics both seem to love him or be meh about him. He has had his biggest hits played over here. Niall have always been loved by 1D fans and still is. And his first album was a bigger hit than most had expected. I don't really know where he sits among the general public. All boys has gained new fans that wasn't a 1D fan before. But in general, I think not many actually knows about him as he was lesser known in the band. He was always underrated by critics, they didn't bother. Many loves him but maybe don't talk abut him online as much as others in the band. I've only heard 2 of his songs played on the radio. Liam is probably the one I've heard the most on the radio after Harry. But he also seems to not be well known outside of 1D. But he has the hits for sure. And while he has a lot of 1D fans they don't seem to be that many online compared to others in the band. He is more like Niall in that regard but 1D fans seems to dislike a lot of the things Liam says even if he's done the most fan service out of all the boys lately. I don't get it. Well, I have theories but will keep them to myself. Louis is the least known outside the 1D fandom. But he seems to have the most passionate fans and most of them are 1D fans. They are most definitely online. Sadly though he also have the most fans that are more obsessed with his love life than his music. Critics in general don't bother with him, they counted him out first thing. I've only heard one of his songs on the radio and it wasn't played for very long, It was Back to you btw. And as I am a big fan of him it kinda hurts. But the list of really good artists that never gets heard by the masses are a mile long. It's just how it is. Sorry for a mile long comment. I had time on my hands and just blurted out thoughts even if you didn't ask for them. Don't know why I am like this at times. *lol*

His music show how much he was held down in 1D (even though I love 1D), now you’ve listened this song you should listen heartbreaker weather (1st track of his last album) and then the whole album. But my recommendation is to listen “nice to meet ya” live on SNL cause live is way better. (Plus don’t forget the bonus tracks Nothing and Dress cause those are SO GOOD) Also he have a live with an orchestra album with songs from his first album, so you check them out cause is amazing, specially ‘so long’ that isn’t in his albums. When you go to his first album you should check “on the loose” live from bbcmusic KZbin channel, and “slow hands” and “flicker” live. I've been enjoying your Louis reactions and I'm excited to see you dive into Niall's music too. They are my two favorites as far as solo music from 1d members go. I think you're going to really like both of Niall's albums. Who's more popular of the 1D members as solo artists? Depends on what country you live in. In the US Harry and Niall have both been really successful, as has some of Zayn's earlier solo stuff. Liam has had one big hit here. Louis has had a couple of modest hits that have gotten him some radio play, but not much individual fame to go with it. I know Liam has had a lot more success in the UK and other places, while Niall has had less success in the UK.

Niall has two albums called "Flicker" and "Heartbreak Weather". Personally I would start with Flicker so you can see the beginning stages of his music and then move onto Heartbreak Weather. My favorite songs on Flicker are "flicker", "this town" and my all time fav "The tide". For Heartbreak Weather it is best to listen to them in order because it was put together to tell a story throughout the album, which I thought was very creative. Some good songs on Heartbreak Weather are "Put a little love on me", "Bend the rules", "Everywhere", and "Still".
