I still can’t get over the callbacks to their previous comeback(and debut) videos. They took all the most iconic parts and put them in one video. Even down to the camera movement. It’s so sick. And that but with Jisoo where the literally clip from ddu-du ddu-du was in the back was *chefs kiss*. So freaking meta. I also prefer this one too. Pink Venom was legendary but this has a different kinda swagger. Like pink venom was coming for your throats. This was like, do and say what you want, we’ll just shirt you down without even trying. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you hear it? Jisoo rap!!! And it''s a full rap verse, super kudos to this MV. I just don't know what to say at this point. Better than Pink Venom in a way that it is super new and refreshing to hear. I'm going to tell you a Jisoo story; When they were trainees and the trainees were allowed to go home for weekend Holidays. Lisa being Thai could not get home to Thailand . Jisoo would bring Lisa home with her. When Lisa stayed behind Jisoo would return to the dorm early so Lisa wouldn't alone the entire weekend. This is as much of the reason she is my bias as her talent and beauty is!!

LORD, HAVE MERCY! I must say , they literally ate it, and left no crumbs.... nothing ! I like watched the whole M/V for more than 10 min. I replayed every part so many times, I was checking out every single detail. And there are references to BLACKPINK's old M/Vs in this video. Like the tank Jennie started on, was the tank in DDU- DU- DDU- DU M/V; Lisa's sword , Jisoo's umbrella scene, Rose's chandelier scene from the same ddu-du ddu-du. The background in the car scene from the starting when all of them are together is from BOOMBAYAH , their debut song; and also Lisa's rap where she is sitting on some heaps and there are some speakers is from BOOMBAYAH too. The bridge Lisa is rapping on is from Playing with fire. And so on. Thanks for this reaction, Luke! ♥♥ Also , I totally recommend the whole Album. It's crazy. If you need hype songs then - Typa girl, yeah yeah yeah And emotional - the happiest girl( it is amazing), hard to love, tally.

So I have listened to their "Born Pink" album a few times and I must say that their English tracks just blew me away. Especially, "Typa Girl," "Hard to Love," and "The Happiest Girl". The lyrics are so much more personal and relatable, rather than fillers like Ra-ta-ta-ta. Maybe due to their global success, the group seems a bit more distant to me, but with this album I am in love with BP all over again.
