Jon Bon Jovi one of the real classy and good guys of rock n roll who is an activist and does alot of charity work and who is one of the few rock stars who is still happily married to his high school sweetheart for 33 years...one of the kings of the 80s hair bands...and a rarity a rock star who never indulged in drugs or boozing it up like most rockers who has lived a very stable life

Geez you can't go wrong with Bon Jovi all their songs are hits. I went to my first concert to see them when I was 14 because I was obsessed! My favourite songs of all time other than the two that you've already done are: Always, Wanted Dead or Alive, Lay Your Hands on Me, Bad Medicine, Living in Sin, Bed of Roses.. Just too many to list off.

Fun facts about Jon Bon Jovi (lead singer): 1) He married his high school sweetheart and is still married to her today (32 years now). 2) He is distantly related to Frank Sinatra 3) He is quite the philanthropist, donating $1M to the Angel Network in 2005, rehabilitated a block of 15 homes in north Philly in 2007, opened the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in 2006, which supports the efforts to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness, and in 2011, opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen, where patrons either pay what they can afford for their meals, or volunteer to do work instead of paying. So he is quite a generous, kind person, in addition to being a talented singer/songwriter. And very easy on the eyes, too! 😍😍😍

He also has great hair. Not crazy about him going all gray now but we are old. It happens. I miss Ritchie on guitar but he chose to stay in California with his daughter and not tour. What I do want to point out is that Jon bon Jovi is a hell of a good dude. Like he made a fortune but he stayed humble and real. A good family man. He has his own place where he feeds the homeless out of his own pocket. You know sometimes you can go down there and catch bon Jovi, one of the greatest rock stars, humbly down there washing dishes after feeding the homeless. The world needs more people like him.

Written by Jon Bon Jovi, Ritchie Sambora and Desmond Child. Produced by late Bruce Fairbairn. Engineered by Bob Rock. Recorded in Little Mountain Sound, Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 1986. In the other part of the studio, Poison was recording their album. This was the golden age for that music studio. The next year, Whitesnake recorded some songs. I was in Vancouver then. But I was in a different district! 😖 Talk box by Richie. This song is based on the life of the co writer Desmond Child. Jon changed the name to Tommy: Desmond or Desi does not have a familiar ring to American listeners like Tommy does. Jump by the main lineup of Van Halen influenced the music video. Great song 👍 This song is Part 1. Part 2 is... ...suggested video 📹: It's My Life.

I remember when this album and song came out. It really swept the nation and you couldn't go to any store without hearing it playing over the speakers. At every traffic light, you'd hear it playing from cars with the windows rolled down. It was my first exposure to the concept of a true "rock star" and heartthrob in Jon Bon Jovi. The music hasn't aged all that well for me personally, but you have to give it to them for taking advantage of that window of time.

Bon Jovi's 3rd album 'Slippery when wet' in 1986 was their big record, after years of opening for other bands... MTV made them superstars w/ 3 music videos from this album - 'You give love a bad name'... "Livin' on a prayer" ... 'Wanted dead or alive'... and it sold 7 million copies in the US alone & a global smash hit worldwide from Europe to Japan, Australia to South America... 'Let it rock' was a big single on radio as well... 'Social disease' was also a fan fave... 'Never say goodbye' was another radio single. When Bon Jovi returned in 1988 w/ the 'New Jersey' album, they were playing arenas and stadiums worldwide and sold 5 million copies in the US.
