I remember when this song came out. It touched a lot of us deeper because in our hometown in PA as well as other places a lot of violence was going on. It was gang violence and killings of young people that weren’t even involved with gangs. It just seemed like we were losing everybody.This song meant so much more to us.

Absolutely one of the best songs in history. I remember when it came out a good friend of mine had just died and to this day over 25 years later it still brings it all back. It's awesome seeing youngsters like yourself bringing back some of my favorites. Great taste in music brother. there has never been any other like bone thugz... they were unlike any before them and none after with ever compare.. 25yrs+ later and crossroads still packs the same punch... it always brought emotions to the surface but I tell you I hit a lot harder today then it did when I was a teen... we thought we lived in a hateful world back then? I was maybe 11 and this big music heavy store called the Warehouse we went into I had like $5 bought the cassette tape single of Tha Crossroads the side B was Crossroads (original) which also heavy. I was actually chopping it up with a rapper friend of mine and pointed out that Bone probably has the best overall cadence of any group. I think BTNH were trying to portray the man in black as Azreal, the Archangel of Death. Still the reaper but portrayed as redemption with the white wings instead of all black meaning a terrible fate. Very inspiring video, plus they showed love to Easy E as they always did then in his passing.
