When this bone video came out in 96 it first debut on the tv video music station called the box it was number 672 I remember that like it was yesterday. Bone is my favorite rap group of all time.

You are absolutely right. The first time I heard it was on a commercial of only the Bone, Bone, Bone, part while watching Rap City the basement. Me, my sister, and my uncle went nuts. We thought it was a new album coming out but it was for the primere of the video. Instant masterpiece!!!

I think bone thugs actually trained our ears to listen and pick up syllables and sounds in a different way, they actually use their voices as a musical instrument while rapping, probably the most musical rappers ever

This was arguably the biggest rap song of the 90's....'96 was probably the greatest year in hip hop history.So many classics dropped that year.This track stood above them all.It was that big when it dropped.It transcended genres.

Bone thugs was discovered by Eazy E. He gave them their break and signed them to ruthless records. Then Eazy passed and They did this song to show their love and appreciation for E. In the end of the video the guy in the raiders hat is Eazy E. This is one of the best rap groups of all time. RIP Eazy E

The 80's and 90's rappers lived the life that they rapped about. They rapped about the actual hood and not how good it was after they made it. Not a good time, but it built character of the rappers.

Fun fact tho song is a remix of the original. The original al cross roads song was completely different. Later this version of the song replaced the old version on newer release of east199 album.

I remember when this song came out. It touched a lot of us deeper because in our hometown in PA as well as other places a lot of violence was going on. It was gang violence and killings of young people that weren’t even involved with gangs. It just seemed like we were losing everybody.This song meant so much more to us.

Absolutely one of the best songs in history. I remember when it came out a good friend of mine had just died and to this day over 25 years later it still brings it all back. It's awesome seeing youngsters like yourself bringing back some of my favorites. Great taste in music brother. there has never been any other like bone thugz... they were unlike any before them and none after with ever compare.. 25yrs+ later and crossroads still packs the same punch... it always brought emotions to the surface but I tell you I hit a lot harder today then it did when I was a teen... we thought we lived in a hateful world back then? I don't think any of us expected this

I’ll never forget visiting my big cousins in Fresno in the mid 90s when this came out. I was maybe 11 and this big music heavy store called the Warehouse we went into I had like $5 bought the cassette tape single of Tha Crossroads the side B was Crossroads (original) which also heavy. Dang came a long way from cassette tapes to digital

I was actually chopping it up with a rapper friend of mine and pointed out that Bone probably has the best overall cadence of any group. He blew my mind when he said " look at kendrick, when he drops his voice and does his lower cadence its bone ". There is someone still rapping like Bone and thats KDOT.

I think BTNH were trying to portray the man in black as Azreal, the Archangel of Death. Still the reaper but portrayed as redemption with the white wings instead of all black meaning a terrible fate. Very inspiring video, plus they showed love to Easy E as they always did then in his passing.
