Well here's a song I never expected to be on one of the reaction channels. One of Bruce's great love songs.

Bruce pulls you in every song! He is the at selling what he’s singing. You become the character cause he paints a vivid picture with his words. People say his lyrics cinematographic…he puts you in a movie in your mind

BRRRRUUUUUUUCCCCCCEEEE! The Boss. Great songwriter, the new Dylan of his generation. I saw Springsteen at State college PA (Penn State) in 2001 and he put on a 3 hour plus show. I am now in my mid 50s and Springsteen is one of those that are in the soundtrack of my life like the Beatles, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, the stones, ACDC and other bands that just keep out putting stuff decade after decade.

Every time Clarence jumps in front with the sax was a special moment. Like David Gilmour's (pink floyd) fingers on the strings and our spines, Clarence had a musical vocabulary that was direct and smooth, and reassuring.

If you like this one try "I don't want to fade away" From the same album or "Out in the Streets"

If you like this side of Bruce, you should check out Secret Grden. It has a soul-stirring melody, accentuated with haunting piano and saxophone, both subtle and powerful. RIP Clarence Clemons. Even the live version with his son on sax is just as moving.

They're ALL ballads: even the rockers. He's essentially a folk singer... Here's the best love song ever: "Thunder Road", but the LIVE, ACOUSTIC version from the album "Live 1975-85". Just him, his voice and harp, and his piano player. One of the best things I've ever heard.

Saw this tour in '81. Live show is off the charts. This song is very hypnotic, Gary on bass, boom/boom boom. Roy on piano, sending shivers down your spine like rain. Then Clarence kicks the sax.

This is one of my all-time favorites from Bruce. The lyrics, music, and vocal performance are incredible. There's so much passion in his voice you feel every word. I'd also recommend his "Atlantic City," another of his early gems with earnest lyrics.

I wish my husband would drive all night to buy me some shoes, that will never happen. That is only because he thinks I have more than enough. He did drive 7 hours away to pick up a puppy for me, so I will give him credit for that. I love this song because the way he sings makes me believe that he would do anything for this woman. Every woman hopes to have somebody that loves them that much.

I love myself that much… but I know I own too many damn shoes. It’s time for a dog though. ❤

Hey guys, another great job!. I didn’t think anyone would react to this song. I first heard when I was 5 on my turntable that my father got me and loved it! Brings back a lot of good memories! Thank you! ❤️ from VA.

Wow, deep cut from you guys. Lovely. With Clarence's sultry sax on this one. Jungleland is a classic you should check out.

My suggestion would have been Sandy (4th of July). A great ballad from I think his 2nd album. Great lyrics as well.

You need to hear the early versions from 78 inbetween backstreets. The key was F in this version. Preciously it was in G.

Sticking with the theme of songs titled I drive all night you need to listen to Roy Orbison and then Celine Dion's

I’ve seen him do this song live, and on stage they picked up the pace a bit, which I think made it more listenable. Good lyrics, but Bruce’s vocals were somewhat less than stellar on this tune. That being said, this is definitely not one of my favorite Springsteen songs. ✌🏼😎🇺🇸
