My jaw dropped when I saw this video title because I thought for sure you had already seen the Dope video! Your face seeing this video totally made my day! BTS is like falling in love. You find someone and they continue to show you parts of themselves which make them more special to you...over & over again. It is also like parenthood, you adore and are so proud at the same time. Also, the love is exponential. The more kids you have, the more love in your heart. These analogies may not make sense to you...especially if you don't have children yet. Simply put, BTS (to me) is love. Plus, they have shown me the importance of loving myself which has made me a more loving person to everyone around me.

DOPE era Jimin was a cultural reset tbh 😳 i think DOPE is the oldest BTS MV you've reacted to, which is heartbreaking in my opinion cause their old stuff is AMAZING!! i'm turning around to look at my BTS albums just so i can remember what MVs came out _before_ "DOPE" and... *"Danger"* is from their 1st full album and was the one that made BTS actually start to get big, so you can safely assume it's a great song and MV because it *is* *"Boy in Luv"* is one i know you've heard it before, in one of the long performances, and you liked it right away, so it's probably time you've watched the MV. it's also one of my all-time favorite BTS songs, so i definitely recommend it the most! *"N.O"* is also great, it's from their 2nd release and it's a lot about the school system in South Korea, the pressure it puts on kids and such... it was also way before BTS got any recognition so you might find it interesting to compare with their most recent MVs. *"We Are Bulletproof Pt.2"* from their debut single is also amazing in every way, still one of my favs. *"No More Dream"* is their DEBUT SONG! and it's SO GOOD!! i remember perfectly when it came out cause it was so good i could genuinely only think _"these kids will make it big"_ and then they _did_ 🤧 it took them years, sure, but i still think it really started from how good their debut song was this is a long comment and i'm emotional i'm SORRY i just have a lot of emotions when thinking back to that time 😭😭

I love this song so much i cosplayed as Jimin from this MV and did the Dope dance at a local comic con near me and i had fun. Also i love how Jimin and Jungkook bounced of eachother, with their voices. The first song that got me into BTS was "Danger", what I loved about it was hip hop mixed with the heavy metal instrumental. It was really cool that time for a kpop group to do that. Then later some heavy hip hop from "War of Hormone" stood out that time too.

Dope is such a great song... TY for reacting to this. When I found BTS, I went through their MVs like Speed Racer. I couldn't get enough. Then I started finding the hidden gems - the songs that don't have MVs... on soundcloud, on KBS and MCountdown. It was early and some of them were covers but all of the covers were better than the originals. Then I found fan made videos, then I found Run BTS (I'm glad you're enjoying it), Bon Voyage, and I couldn't stop. Then I opened a twitter account... OMG, I watched them coming and going to the airport (actually I still do). Now it's like a daily dose of happy for me to just follow them wherever they go online from my little corner of Pennsylvania USA. I've never been addicted to anything in my life... including my marriages 🤦... but I do think I'm addicted to BTS... and it all started with their music. Luke, I watched your first BTS reaction of BLACK SWAN, and here you are at 100 000 subs - wow! Congratulations! DOPE is an amazing song and I enjoyed your reaction, as usual. But I did want to add just one thing: as is often the case with BTS songs there is a very serious commentary on South Korean society - in RM's rap. He raps about all that people are giving up under the huge societal pressures that South Korea has been experiencing, for many reasons. People are facing hard choices of giving up courtship, marriage, having kids, employment, home ownership, even their lives (the numbers in his lyrics relate to how many things people are being forced to give up) "Never give up!" these lyrics are powerful stuff - this song is not just the incredible bop it is packaged as. There are people out there who can explain all this better than me, but since you do like to know what is going on in a song, I think you would like to know this so you can look into it a bit more when you're ready (doolset lyrics is a good place to start), because it is yet another example of the risks BTS are always prepared to take in their music.

I love this video! That part where JK goes really high where you rewound it is one of my fav parts live! Other MVs I think you'd like: - ON - you watched the kinetic manifesto version, but the theatrical one is actually my all-time fav MV of theirs - Boy Meets Evil - this is a solo of j-hope off the Wings album and the MV is amazing. His dancing is absolutely incredible and he Raps like crazy in that one. - Persona, Shadow and Ego - these are three MVs by RM, Suga and j-hope off Map of the Soul 7 and each showcases their style so well. Another great reaction, yay! Would love to see you continue to work in one MV a week -- I think you'd enjoy dance practices and live performances even more if you've seen what the MV was first.
