I think you should have also done the DE version of the colony 9 since the instruments are clearer, and because since you seem to like going through the music twice. You can also hear the evolution of the music after a decade. Though I understand if that’s to much. I hope you do Guar Plains next.

I mentioned Colony 9 back on your Main Theme video, and so glad you listened to it. Absolutely the superior version. So glad you listened to the original over the DE version! (although the DE version is still incredible) Love your reviews, you always have such great analysis. I still stand by that Guar Plains is the even better overworld theme.

The DE version of the Main theme wasn’t changed at all, they kept it the same

@@shadowlinkx9180 Sorry, I was talking about Colony 9 the whole comment, I can see how it was confusing because I mentioned the Main theme video I mentioned this song in. I'll edit the comment to make that more clear.

I recomend you Mechanical Rhythm and Fogbeasts, both are great battle themes. It would be great if you listened to the original version and the Definitive Edition of Mechanical Rhythm, so you will be able to notice the difference at the production level of both.

You were pretty spot on here. A great area theme early in the game. If you're curious about more Xenoblade, I'd say pick from A Tragic Decision, Mechonis Field, Engage the Enemy, Zanza the Divine, or Gaur plain. Fogbeasts from the DLC is also very popular. The soundtrack is huge and highly varied. Xenoblade 2 and 3 also have incredible music.

For subsequent reactions for this game, I suggest (like the other comments) that you listen to the Definitive Edition versions of the tracks as well as the original ones. The DE versions are fully orchestrated rather than the partly synth Original tracks.

Another wonderful reaction! I love your analysis. One thing to note about the 1st game’s music is that there are two versions of some tracks: the original from the Wii and Definitive Edition for the Switch, which has updated instruments. Just something to keep in mind, I don’t really care which version you listen to. Lastly, I’ll put the recommendations I listed in your last video: Xenoblade 1: Gaur Plains (Day), You Will Know Our Names, The Fallen Land (Day), Fogbeast Battle Xenoblade 2: Main theme (for comparison), Kingdom of Uraya (Day), Counterattack, Battle!! ~ Torna, The Tomorrow With You Xenoblade 3: Main theme (for comparison), A Life Sent On, Alfeto Valley (Day), Cent-Omnia Region (Day), Black Mountain ~ Prison Island (Day)

Really love the Xenoblade OST. Though since everyone and their mother will recommend more Xenoblade, I'll go out of the way and recommend a song from a game called Gurumin, the title is Rainbow-Colored Phantoms Can't Swim. It's a pretty niche game with a stellar soundtrack. I don't think anyone's done any reaction of any song from it.

For starters, Engage the Enemy DE version is something you should start with, so you get a clue what you are getting into with xenoblade

Listening to both the original wii version of Colony 9 Day and the definitive edition version the latter is easier more enjoyable to listen to though I know some do perfer the OG tracks
