Dimash Qudaibergen, leave out the -ov. It's only pronounced in Russian. These middle easter sound (melisma) he does in one or another song. It’s really awesome. The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing. 23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. It’s unbelievable. By the way he didn‘t win The Voice. He became second in The Singer competition in China 2017, because of not being a Chinese. The following year in 2018, they changed the rules and Jessie J. won. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest. This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Thank you for reacting the video to the end. If possible, always watch the videos to the end. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. In this case he thanked the band A-Studio. It’s a Kazakh band who wrote this song. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion, much better 😄. Yes, I've heard a few reactors from Turkey say they can understand Kazakh fairly well. Russian sounds softer than the many hard consonants in Kazakh and all the R rolls.

OK, I've watched all your reactions on Dimash so far. Here are my suggestions on what to see next. For range: Unforgettable Day (Live at Gekko) and Diva Dance (that's the humanly impossible song to sing from the Fifth Element. For emotion and that purity of vocals: Akinaide, Love is like a dream and Ave Maria. For cinematography: When I've got you, and....The story of one sky! Three mistakes were made by the host: first, Dimash was not in "The Voice" China but in Hunan TV show "I am singer"; second, the song is not "sinful LOVE" but "Sinful PASSION". The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters. 6:02 the greeting/farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che". Just fyi, his last name is Qudaibergen, no "ov", that is the Russian way to say it. I hope you will continue with your Dimash journey, you will find everything, opera, ballads, "crossover "classical, and rap, all with his very beautiful voice. The middle part is a farewell to the original singer who died at an early age.

I agree. I prefer an artist to get more into the moment and Dimash sings with every fiber of his being. Dee MOSH Koo Die Bear GHEN (hard "g") The "ov" is added to a mans name in Russian. Try a heartfelt song in the Kazak language. Try "Omir Mood Video"/2023 This original song is heartfelt and personal. Omir means Life. The video shows images of Dimash's entire life/career up to 2023. I think you will really enjoy getting to know him a bit better.🪷 Thank you for another great reation.
