Hi Ella- I just sent you a comment (SOS-Dimash) and I decided to check out your second reaction video for Dimash singing Opera 2...bad news...They will not show the video due to what they say are Copyright issues with Hunan TV. Привет! Прожила эти эмоции заново вместе с тобой! Это было очаровательно! Да, Димаш - космос! Уверенна, что теперь в твоей голове тоже живет его голос 24/7. Во всяком случае у меня теперь вся жизнь на вибрациях голоса Ди проходит и это так приятно и красиво. Увидела эту реакцию в переводе замечательного переводчика Алана, так что привет от него! Он так артистично переводит и сам такой красивый! Thank you for your reaction. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and was singing in a Chinese vocal competition. This competition is for well known professional Chinese singers and Dimash was invited as a wild card experiment. He was the first performer on stage in Singer 17 because he wasn't expected to do well. The other competitors (in the back room) and the audience (by the way they are the 500 judges) hadn't heard him perform before. You have just scratched the surface of all his incredible abilities and you'll be in for a wild ride should you continue to react to him.

If you keep listening, (and how could you not?) you just might become a "Dear". That is what Dimash calls all of us who love him. I am always amazed by his abilities and vocal range, but his real magic is his ability to draw you into the song and make you feel something. A song like Autumn Strong (in Chinese) is emotional and the end is soooo hauntingly beautiful, because of Dimash and his interpretation. Would love to hear you react to that someday. Good job.

"The Singer" is an annual Chinese TV show for highly respected singers to compete. Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan is 6ft 3 and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. Because of his age and the fact he was a wild card selection, he was asked to perform first. No pressure!! This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on TV to approximately 600 million people he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist and just turned 26 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to Covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition with a top mark of 100%. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down for a more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. His performances are easily found all over KZbin. Enjoy!

Hi Ella, thanks for your sincere reaction. Dimash came to the competition to China from the neighboring country of Kazakhstan. In China, no one knew him. You saw the first performance of Dimash at the competition in China "I'm Singer 2017". From this day and with this song, he became famous in China. That day Dimash saw 600 mln people of China. This competition is only for famous singers, Dimash was there the youngest he was 22 years old. Dimash has, besides a fantastic voice, also chorism, artistic abilities. At this performance, Dimash was a little fettered, he was very nervous. Dimash sang first, the contestants asked for it, they wanted to see their rival, and the translator of Dimash asked the audience to support the singer with applause. Throughout the competition, lasting 3 months, Dimash earned the respect and love of not only the audience but also the contestants. 500 people are present in the auditorium, who cast their votes at the end of each round to singer of their сhoice and this identifed the winner. All these people work in show business. I advise you to start getting acquainted with Dimash’s performances in all 13 rounds of this marathon contests. I love watching these reaction videos to Dimash. Its like everyone is so amazed with him and just falls in love with his voice, his stage presence and all the emotions he invokes with his whole persona! I can't stop watching him. I'm so glad I've found him as well.
