He never, ever misses the opportunity to thank the backing singers, the orchestra, his country - you name it, he thanks them! I’m 76 and have never heard a better singer and Dimash is the first person ever that I have joined a fan club for!! He is a wonderful human being. Thank you for your great reaction. Can’t wait to see you and your father’s reactions to Ogni Pietra. I believe the middle section is known as glottal - but it reminded me of middle eastern calling.

I started following Dimash in 2016. He not only has an otherworldly voice, but he is a very humble humanitarian. He always states in his concerts that he believes that his voice should be used to bring harmony, peace, love, and inclusivity to the nations. My husband and I dipped into our life savings to go to his NY concert for our 53rd anniversary. If I were to forget people and places, I’d never forget that deeply spiritual experience. There were “Dears” from more than 40 countries that were there. Our feet have never quite touched the ground. If we’re to ever have the opportunity to experience Dimash live, do whatever it takes to attend❗️

Dimash always thanks the other performers sharing the stage with him. At the end of the New York concert in December 2019 he had each musician, singer and dancer come forward individually to do a riff and be recognized. He has so much kindness and respect for others and this is what makes us Dears more than mere fans. Yes, you have so much more to discover, Dimash apparently can do absolutely everything with his voice (well, maybe not Altai/Mongolian throat singing, I'm not sure his pipes would survive that!). If you want to swoon with sweetness please react to Love is Like a Dream and Thousands of Miles. Some barnburners are Opera 2, Diva Dance, Drunken Concubine (with Li Yugang, another mindblowing singer), Our Love. Kazakh folk beauties include Samal Tau and Daididau. And then there's all the covers of Western pop songs. And at some point you have to do the Unforgettable Day in Gakku..... I won't even tell you what that has in store. I can't wait to see your dad's reaction to Olympico!

There is a TV version, there is the power of not only Dimash's vocals, but also the concert itself, and there is an excellent high-quality recording of a fan-camera, only Dimash is a close-up, the smallest details of his performance are visible on it. The song itself is completely operatic and very powerful. The man in the white shirt standing applauding at the end is Maestro Russian composer/producer Igor Krutoy. He is the richest man in world music, estimated wealth is around 13 Billion. His mother saw Dimash singing and told him you have to go and see this young man he's unbelievable. After seeing him singing Igor decided to come out of semi-retirement to work with Dimash. They now have an almost father / son relationship, and have worked together on many projects over the last couple of years. Greetings Adam and thank you for your reaction!! I would highly recommend watching "Ogni Pietra" with your father. "Opera 2" is of course brilliant and you can go ahead and do that one as well, but it's a bit like a toy-song for Dimash. It was not really even a challenge for him (still, it's super impressive). However, "Ogni Pietra" is probably the best purely operatic song that Dimash has performed, going from baritone, to tenor, to mezzo soprano to soprano. This will totally blow the mind of any classically trained singer! "Ogni Pietra" is also known as "Olimpico". For me, the best version is on the composer Igor Krutoy's channel from Dimash's solo concert in 2019, but there is also another version from the Kazan Skills event on Dimash's own channel.

Hello, I’m from Brazil! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique (traditional cazaq singing called “Youkatian”). Is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist? Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

I love that you listen pretty much through the whole song before you start commenting. I hate those that just keep pausing every ten seconds or so. I really don't care for all the logistics of how he does it . This young man is very talented something he's put years into learning. Yes part of it is a God given gift which he gives credit. And he gives credit to his parents and grandparents and his voice teachers. None of which he takes for granted and then the years of hard work he has put into doing something he loves doing since he was a little boy. And we're the ones who have been invited to take this journey with him. My favorite song is "Love of Tired Swans ".

There is no other word to describe Dimash's level of performance than greatness. While other singers sound at times like they are singing didies, the operatic music that surrounds him inside out always shines in these beautiful auras that masterpieces emanate. In Sinful Passion, Dimash is elegance in style and in vocal distinction. In each of his songs, there are moments of sublime creativity that only him can reveal to our unbelief and to our wonderment and awe. As a spiritual, lyrical and musical experience for the ages, i would suggest you to react to Dimash's Love Is Like A Dream. In that performance, the sublime appears when he sings: Ave Maria, Ave Amor.

Since you are saying you like vocalisation,it would be good to hear his song called Ascolta la Voce. It's only vocalisation,it's Lara Fabian's original composed by Igor Krutoy, the famous Russian pianist/composer you could see in a white shirt in the audience giving Dimash a standing ovation in the end of the performance.Igor rearranged the song Ascolta la Voce, added lyrics and handed it to Dimash who literally made it his own.The name of the variant with lyrics is Know.Maybe a reaction to both songs at the same time would be a good choice:Ascolta la Voce from his Kiev Arnau concert and Know from VTB ice arena,or New Wave, both are great!

Soon you will be a real dear ! Dimash is..... no words. “Love is like a dream” is nice, but you will be fond of “know” too. You best listen also to “Ascolta la voce” (know, vocalized) From the Kiev concert. But there is so much. I really love Sinful Passion, one of my favorites, but then, they all are. I love this song most what I am listening to at that moment. So I am always happy with what I hear.... Thanks for your reaction.

Thank you for your wonderful reaction. I enjoy how you can discern the finer nuances of Dimash's performance. This is such an outstanding song with so many layers - I love it, and appreciate that you enjoyed it, too! I am so much looking forward to your Dimash session(s) shared with your Dad. Opera 2 is a good choice and shows a lighter, fun-loving side of Dimash; Ogni Pietro (Olympica) is truer to 'real' Opera in a sense - although it has very percussive and high energy orchestration, which isn't typical of most Operas. (Please avoid the fancam version as the sound is definitely poor.) What an adventure you are on and I look forward to more of your insights and observations.

🥰😍🥰 So happy you chose the video without the glitch! 😂 FYI, the man in the white shirt that stood up at the end, his name is Igor Krutoy. He invited Dimash to this event and came out of retirement to work with him. They are currently making magic together! You'll see Igor accompany Dimash on all his performances that was written by him. They are magical and some of my favorites! For this performance, Dimash is playing with the band who wrote the song, A-Studio. Their lead singer passed away and they invited Dimash to perform with them. My recommendations are the same..😂 all his more classical ballads and then everything he's ever done! 😂🤣😂

@Italian dear 4ever you have serious social problems. Your opinion is not the final say. People have different preferences so you should learn to be respectful and keep your rude comments to yourself.

@@SeeliaVachon I'm glad he watched the version of the Sochi performance without the annoying glitch and I'm sorry for my friend here being disrespectful and rude . However , he's right about the Moscow fancam from Dimash 48 being the best version of the song in my humble opinion , at least give it a shot .

Hi! Before I watch, it is a great song and there are many more, but you have asked for cover you know. There are plenty to choose from "Adagio"; "All by myself"; "Hello" or "The show must go one" etc

cool if you show Opera 2 to your dad, but it's not an actually opera song. Ti amo cosi or Ogni Pietra (the one writen for his voice, ) are much more operistic. You can do more than one, I guess...😉 loving your reactions so far, already subscribed. oh, and if you love vocalising, Know, Kiev concert, no lyrics at all, just vocalising.

Ogni Pietra is operatic, please ask Dad to react to it😀🙏🏻Opera 2 isn’t although he is amazing in both

Taking Susanna's queue, I would suggest reacting at some point, to both the "regular" version of Know and the vocalized version, on a single reaction.

Dimash is an emotional diamond 💎, over- flowing gigantic rivers of emotions satiating desert thirsty music lovers; scintillating with each note, glowing from highest mountain ⛰, avant-garde of the greatest singers from now until eternity 💥💖💥.... Love, loved ❤ your reaction, and truly relate in very tiny measure, because in France 🇫🇷, I used to sing every where and began to learn and understand who are the real artist, and "making of an "artist"... I'm sorry TODAY 😞 to write majority of the singers and groups are soooo boring and generic... BUT when by chance I heard just a morsel of DIMASH... I halted working, I WEPT and cried and spent 48 hours just drinking in any music from his early life UP to NOW; as well as soaking the reactions from vocalist, music teachers, Judges from singers and actors etc... I am just an simple artist, but I know what's good and REAL... and what makes him THE GREATEST SINGER is his "humble" personna! HIS humility beautifies every note sung and every SONG MEANINGFUL 💫💝💫. He glorifies the true meaning of MUSIC 🎶

Opera 2 isn't opera. It's Russian pop circa 2008 or something. Amusing, fun, not really opera. For the full-on opera treatment, show your Dad Te Amo Cosi, Ulisse or Ogni Pietra. Or all three. The last is solo, and has the best demonstration of his competency across a vast range. Ulisse is a duet with a soprano, Te Amo Cosi with one operatic soprano and one pop singer. Bit of a crossover tune but still mostly operatic.

I was just going to warn him about Opera 2, but you beat me to it. Yes, the 3 other songs are much better for an operatic experience. In Ogni Pietra, Dimash is a beast!!!

I saw another reaction to the one with the operatic soprano and pop singer, and the reactor spoke about Dimash being able to adapt his vibrato to accommodate the singer he was currently singing with. That’s amazing. I don’t have a trained enough ear for that yet. I’m trying to pick that up 😊
@Urgelt4 жыл бұрын
@@Nora-jt9zy That was Te Amo Cosi, with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian. Lara doesn't have an operatic-style vibrato. But the warmth of her tone when she joins in changes the entire dynamic of the song. Man, but that's a beautiful piece of art with all three of them. And yes, Dimash is able to modulate the pace of his vibrato to match his singing partner - if the partner is consistent. I've seen cases where the partner wasn't, and the match couldn't happen. But Lara is Ms. Consistency. She's a superb singer. Aida is, too. And so Dimash fits himself to both. It's a treat for our ears.

Thank you for this reaction - quite a step up from "SOS" in 2017 to "Sinful Passion" in 2019. Dimash shows us many things and it's a joy to experience and is always fresh to hear. Thank you too for listening through without interruptions - just as if you were at his concert. Welcome to the world of Dimash from a dear in America.
