Thanks a lot! I still remember that day in 1979 when I first heard it on the radio. All ELO fans were waiting in 1979 of the new album " Discovery".......still feel the happiness after 44 years.

Although I love all ELO music, this was never one of my top favourites... However, they always do this one at concerts and it is stomping! Drives me absolutely insane every time!!

This is the first track on Discovery so you might as well go down this album. If you don’t want to do the whole album, the next single off of it would be another banger track that is similar in disco sound as this one, called Last Train to London. Then the last single off this album and their highest charted song in their catalog, Don’t Bring Me Down.

Disco...Very, 1979 was ELO's disco dancing music era, one that I'm not too keen on myself. It wasn't Jeff Lynne's first exploration into the disco music scene, that was in 1977 with his solo single "Doin' That Crazy Thing" backed with "Goin' Down To Rio". The single didn't even touch the charts, mainly because it was crap and totally different to Jeff's successful work with ELO. Listening to that single, it's hard to believe that within a few months, Jeff and ELO would release their masterpiece double album "Out of the Blue".
