Eminem had a song called "Amittyville" on the Marshall Matters LP. He likened Detroit to Amittyville as its a horror scene and murders taking place constantly in Detroit. As in "Amittyville" the horror movie from the 80s (I believe the 80s but maybe late 70s).

This was Eminem's response' to a song from Everlast called Hailey's Comet, which in itself was a response to Eminem's "I remember" diss at Everlast. In Hailey's Cmoent Everlast says somethingin particular like "I'll buck 380 at anyone who acts Shady" which is another reason why the "grab 380's when you see Slim Shady" is such a clever chorus line, in addition to following the Glock/Tupac rhyme scheme that Tupac used.

The song referencing 'Haley's Comet' was the Ear Drums Pop (remix) from Dilated Peoples. Then Everlast came back with Whitey's Revenge after I Remember. Then cam Quitter. Evidence from Dilated Peoples also dissed Eminem on a track called Search for Bobby Fischer.

Everlast was in a group called House of Pain in the 80s and 90s. They had a slew of hits back then including Top of the Mornin to Ya and Jump Around which were huge. He went solo and released several okay albums critically but never really scored anything commercially like he did when he was in House of Pain. Em and Everlast have actually made up and are cool now
